This port system located in Colon and it is formed by: Colon Container Terminal (Administered by Evergreen), Manzanillo International Terminal (Operated by Stevedoring Services of the America), Panama Port Terminal (Administered by Hutchison Whampoa) and Colon Port Terminal. At present the city possesses two new ports of cruises, these are: Colon 2000 and the Wharf 6 of Cristóbal's port.

IN THIS CITY IS LOCATED THE FREE ZONE OF COLON THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ZONE OF THE WESTERN WORLD AND THE SECOND BIGGEST CENTER OF IMPORT AND REDISTRIBUTION OF THE WORLD. Products of any type, including raw material and machinery accused can be imported, stored, modified, distributed, re-packed and later re-exported without being subject to customs taxes.
