Work for yourself and with your organization

Find a buddy or a mentor and shadow him/her

Give/share what you want to achieve more

Support your lead/Manager – Offload some of his/her work

Invest in your career. Trainings/certifications/further education

Create your backup/successor

Don’t work for your organization!

Don’t be a lonely person

Don’t keep the knowledge confined to you

Don’t just do what is assigned to you

Don’t expect your company or boss to always help in further education

Don’t wait for someone to promote you

Define yourself if nothing is defined, discuss with your boss

Follow PDCA throughout the year – Plan Do Check Ac (PDCA) must be applied for

continuous improvement Seek regular feedback and work towards improvement

Keep record of your achievements during the year (Data Points)

What value you bring to team/unit/org.? Always ask what value you bring in, this will help you in

the long run instead of asking what company is doing for you!!!
