Title: Career Jeopardy Grade: 4 Career Development Model: Career Exploration Nebraska Career Readiness Standards: • Communicates effectively & appropriately • Contributes to employer & community success • Manages personal career development Objective: Students will explore a wide variety of careers titles and career information. Materials and Supplies Needed: Projector Computer/Tablet (This could be large group or individual or small group activity or even an anticipatory set activity if played for a short time.) Career Jeopardy Class Instructions: 1. Review the Nebraska Career Model 2. Explain to students that there are many professions in each career field and that today’s goal is to expose them to a variety of career, the education requirements and the duties and responsibilities of those careers by playing a game very similar to Jeopardy. 3. Display Career Jeopardy on the Board or they can play on their own device alone or in pairs. 4. Split the class into as many teams as you see fit and select the appropriate number on the Career Jeopardy website (https://jeopardylabs.com/play/career- jeopardy71). Or select the elementary Career Jeopardy games from North Dakota Career Technical Education (CTE) based on career clusters similar to Nebraska. 5. You can keep score at the bottom of the Jeopardy board and reward the winning
