CAREER COUNSELING
The word career covers all types of
Employment Ranging from semi-skilled
through skilled, and semi professional to
professional..
The term careers has often been restricted
to suggest an employment commitment to a
single trade skill, profession or business firm for
the entire working life of a person.

Counseling is the means by which one person
helps another through purposeful conversation.
Counseling is a method of identifying
practical solution to an identified problem.

environment that, if properly leveraged, could
provide a competitive advantage.
Example:
• Organization's geographic location

Any existing or potential force in the external
environment that could erode a competitive
advantage.
Example:
• A new competitor entrant
• A recession, rising interest rates, or tight credit lines
