DiureticesA diuretic is any substance that promotes the
production of urine. Use:-In medicine diuretics are used to treat Heart failure,
Liver cirrhosis, Hyper tension , water poisoning and certain Kidney diseases .
Example:-Some diuretics such as Acetazolamide help to make
the urine more alkaline and helpful in increasing excretion of substance such as aspirin in case of overdose or poisoning.
