INTRODUCTION

(PENGENALAN)

Welcome to Microsoft's Windows XP Professional (Pro) Install step by step. This will give you an idea on how to do this when and if the time arises

for you to either reinstall the operating system, install for the first time or upgrade your present operating system. This install guide is fully graphical

and will take you through each step of the installation.

Selamat datang di Microsoft'S Windows XP Profesional ( Pro) Install tahap

demi tahap. Ini akan memberi penjelasan bagaimana cara menginstal kembali sistem

operasi, menginstal untuk pertama kali atau meningkatkan mutu sistem operasi. Ini

memandu menginstal secara penuh dengan grafis/gambar dan akan membawa

langkah demi langkah instalasi.

What you will require to do this walkthrough is

1. A Windows XP Professional (Pro) CD

2. A Computer with CD-ROM access

To start this Windows install. First check that the first boot device in your

system BIOS is set to the CD-ROM Drive.

Untuk memulai menginstal Windows. Cek boot pertama di sistem BIOS adalah di drive

CD-ROM

( To find out how to access the BIOS please refer to your motherboard manual or the manufacturer of your Computer. (The

system bios can usually be entered on boot, usually by pressing the

F1, F2, F8, F10 or DEL key. Make sure you save the settings before exiting))

Untuk menemukan bagaimana cara mengakses BIOS mengacu pada motherboard

manual atau pabrikan Komputer. Sistem BIOS asli pada umumnya dengan menekan

F1 , F2, F8, F10 Atau DEL pada keyboard setelah komputer dinyalakan sebelum

muncul System Operasi Windows.

Kemudian Simpan perubahan dan keluar, biarkan komputer berjalan biasa, setelah

muncul tampilan pertama windows inilah langkah-langkahnya:

PART 1

To begin insert your Windows XP Professional CD and reboot you computer.

Masukkan CD Windows XP, Klik Star > Turn off computer > Restart

A message "Press any key to boot from CD....." will appear, press the space bar to continue.

Sebuah pesan " Press any key to boot from CD....." akan nampak, tekan spasi

untuk melanjutkan

Setup will now inspect your computer hardware and

configuration.

Setup sekarang akan memeriksa bentuk wujud dan perangkat keras

komputer

Setup now prepares your computer for install.

Setup sekarang menyiapkan komputer untuk diinstal

From this menu press "ENTER" to begin the install.

Dari menu ini tekan " ENTER " untuk mulai menginstal

Windows XP License agreement, read, and if you agree press

"F8" to continue, press "ESC" if you disagree. If you disagree setup will finish.

Windows XP Persetujuan Lisensi, baca, dan jika setuju tekan " F8" untuk

melanjukant, tekan " ESC" jika tidak sependapat. Jika tidak sependapat

setup akan menyelesaikan (sebaiknya setuju aja…)

PART 2

The next step is to delete the partition, press "D" to delete the selected partition.

Langkah yang berikutnya adalah menghapus partisi, tekan " D" untuk

menghapus partisi yang dipilih. (pilih partisi dimana system berada biasa

di C:)

Now press "ENTER" if you are sure you want the partition deleted.

Sekarang tekan " ENTER" jika pasti ingin menghapus partisi tersebut.

Now is your final chance, press "L" to confirm deletion.

Sekarang adalah kesempatan terakhir, tekan " L" untuk mengkonfirmasi-

kan penghapusan

Now you have to select where to install XP. Press "ENTER" to

confirm the partition you want to install into.

Sekarang harus memilih di mana tempat untuk menginstal XP. Tekan "

ENTER" untuk mengkonfirmasikan Partisi yang ingin diinstal

Now you need to format the hard drive, NTFS is recommended, but you can also use FAT32. Make your decision using the arrow

keys and press enter.

Sekarang arah kan tanda panah pada keyboard untuk memilih format hard

drive, NTFS direkomendasikan, tetapi kamu dapat juga menggunakan

FAT32. Pilih dengan tanda panah kemudian tekan enter

The hard drive will now format.

Hard Drive sekarang diformat. (Tunggu sampai selesai)

PART 3

and then setup will begin to copy files.

dan kemudian setup akan mulai untuk mengcopy file.. (Tunggu sampai

selesai)

Setup now initializes the Windows XP configuration.

It is now time to restart Windows XP, press "ENTER" to speed up process, otherwise Windows will do it itself in 15 seconds.

Sekarang waktu untuk Restart Windows XP, tekan " ENTER" untuk

mempercepat proses, jika tidak Windows akan melakukannya sendiri

dalam 15 detik

Boot will recognize that the XP CD is in the drive, DO NOT press any keys, let setup bypass the CD boot.

Boot akan mengenali bahwa CD XP ada di dalam drive CD ROM ,

JANGAN tekan apapun tombol keyboard, biarkan setup melewati boot

CD.

Now your regional and language options. Your mouse should now be active, so click on "CUSTOMIZE".

Sekarang pilihan regional bahasa. Mouse sekarang aktip, klik-lah

" CUSTOMIZE".

Now select your Standards and Formats, plus your location, then click "OK".

Sekarang memilih Standar dan Format , plus lokasi, kemudian klik " OK".

Now click on "DETAILS".

Sekarang klik " DETAILS".

Next select your default language, click "OK" when done.

berikutnya Memilih bahasa, klik " OK" ketika dilaksanakan

Now that you have made all necessary changes click on "NEXT".

Semua perubahan yang dibuat telah selesai, klik " NEXT".

PART 5

Now it is time to personalize Windows. File in your name and if you wish you can also file in the Organization section. Click "NEXT" when ready.

Sekarang waktunya untuk membuat data personal pada Windows. Nama

file dapat juga nama Bagian Organisasi. Klik "NEXT" ketika sudah siap

Now it is time for your product key. The product key will be on the packaging that XP was supplied with. It is 25 digits long.

Some OEM computers will have a sticker on the side or back with your product key. Input the key and press "NEXT".

Sekarang isi kan produk Key mu .Angka ini ada bersama kemasan CD XP

sebanyak 25 digit. Masukkan dan tekan ”ENTER”

Now select your computer name and your admin password. Confirm the Admin password and press "NEXT".

Sekarang memilih nama komputer dan admin kata sandi . Konfirmasikan

Admin Kata sandi dan tekan " NEXT"

Date and Time settings are next, change as need be, then press "NEXT".

Setting Tanggal Dan Jam, kemudian tekan " NEXT".

Windows will then continue installing.

Windows akan melanjutkan install (tunggu sampai selesai)

PART 6

If a network card has been detected then you will get the

following menu. Select "TYPICAL SETTINGS" and press next. This configured later in Windows.

Jika suatu kartu jaringan telah dideteksi kemudian akan mendapatkan

menu yang berikut. Memilih " TYPICAL SETTINGS " dan tekan next . Ini

akan diatur kemudian dalam Windows

More network configuration, change workgroup name if need be

and click "NEXT".

Beberapa konfigurasi jaringan, pilih workgroup kalau diperlukan dan klik

" NEXT"

Windows will continue installing.

Windows install will now finalize.

PART 7

Windows will now adjust your resolution, click "OK" to continue.

Windows sekarang akan melakukan penyesuaian resolusi, klik " OK"

untuk melanjutkan.

If you are happy with the changes, click "OK" otherwise press "Cancel" to return to the old settings

Jika kamu bahagia dengan perubahan, klik " OK" jika tidak tekan "

Batalkan" untuk kembali ke setting yang lama

Windows will now apply changes. Be patient.

If you are lucky you will have no drivers to install, but chances are the next step will be to install them. Check out device

manager for unknown devices, likely items are Network Cards, Sound Cards, Printers, Scanners, Graphics Cards, Digital

Cameras, plus any other item you have.

Jika beruntung tidak akan ada lagi drive yang perlu untuk diinstal, tetapi

ada kesempatan langkah berikutnya untuk menginstal. Check-Out

Device manager untuk alat yang tak dikenal, mungkin Network Cards,

Sound Cards, Printers, Scanners, Graphics Cards, Digital Cameras , item

lain yang kamu punyai
