The buses will continue to follow their usual routes. Buses mainly leave the depot early morning and return late at night.
The bus routes using the bus depot, mean there will be a fairly even split on the buses that will travel via the A4 and A205 South Circular. Modelling of the movements is being undertaken as part of a wider Transport Assessment and details will be submitted with the planning application.

2.19 Environmental TestingAir QualityAir pollutants of concern in this area include PM10 airborne particles and N02 Nitrogen Dioxide. Temple undertook continuous monitoring of NO2 and PM10 at the Application Site for a period of three months from 14 October 2015 to 27 January 2016. NO2 was measured near ground level and at the level of the advertising hoarding, just above the level of the elevated M4. The distance of the monitoring location from the M4 at the level of the hoarding is representative of the closest distance of the receptors in the proposed Northern building. A continuous monitoring method was used, with instrumentation meeting EU monitoring equivalence standards.
Sound LevelsA survey was conducted in October 2015 in order to establish the baseline noise environment across the Application Site and to determine background noise levels at nearby sensitive receptors. The baseline noise survey was undertaken in accordance with best practice as specified in BS 7445: Part 2. Both attended and unattended noise measurements were carried out. Attended day and night surveys were carried out simultaneously during the monitoring period at and around the Application Site. These measurements were carried out at three locations for fifteen minutes per location over three consecutive hours.
Sunlight/ DaylightDSO Preliminary modelling: - Daylight Sunlight Preliminary Model Run Nov 2015; - Daylight Sunlight Second Preliminary Model Run April 2016; and - Daylight Sunlight Third Preliminary Model Run June 2016.
Wind Wind tunnel testing was carried out on 24 November 2015 and 7 July 2016
The architectural response to the results of these tests is explained throughout this document. For technical results of the test please see the Environmental Statement.

Urban PropoalsOne of the key benefits of the redevelopment, will be unlocking space for a new publicly accessible park and local amenities at Capital Interchange Way.
The park will be a mix of undulating mounds, landscaped walkways, large swathes of colourful flowers and bands of rippling grasses. In between planted
borders will be shallow pockets of water, inviting people to explore, relax and play.
A landscaping plan will ensure high quality planting is provided, as well as interesting seating and features, using natural materials like rock and wood.
A new cafe will be created within the park with outside seat and connection to the children’s play area.

Employment SpaceNew attractive grade A office space is proposed. The ‘base’ of the northern residential building will provide 3,707 m² of new flexible office space. The HQ entrance will be a podium level, connected with the park. We are hoping to work closely with local business groups to attract future tenants.
EMPLOYMENT PODSThere will be three independent office pods and one cafe pod.The office pod will provide 400m² of floor space. The pods will facilitate a range of business sizes including start-ups and small-to-medium employers. The type of employment space proposed will result in a far greater number of jobs than the existing warehouse use.

The ProposalThe proposal is for a transformative and regenerative mixed use scheme, incorporating a new bus depot for Metroline. Moving the bus depot to Capital Interchange Way unlocks the site at Commerce Road for a potential new school. To offset the cost of providing a new bus depot and public park, a range of other employment and residential uses are needed.
A TRULY MIXED-USE SCHEME
• Bus depot at ground level (relocated from Commerce Road, Brentford)
• 3 main new buildings: up to 550 residential units, mix of 1 -3 bedrooms
• Major new flexible offices fronting the M4 and three separate office business pods located on the podium level.
• Open landscaped park space at podium level, accessible via lift and stairs
• Children’s play space and public amenity park space
• Private amenity space – balconies, flexible internal amenity space, roof gardens
• Enhanced replacement of existing advertisement

Stirling Prize winner and founder of aLL Design Will Alsop, has been leading the project design.
The design seeks to balance a combi-nation of residential, office, retail, bus depot, food and drink and public amen-ity uses within a vibrant and enjoyable
Discussions have seen evolution of the design and a significant reduction in height.
VISUAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT Key to a successful new development is making sure the visual impacts from key viewpoints are thoroughly as-sessed to inform the design. Photos
