Cape Cod Is A Hotbed For AntiquingAntiquing on Cape Cod is a year-round pastime though the ranks of antiques buyers certainly swell during the nicer weather months. There are dozens of antique shops, including nine group shops, and dealers all over the Cape as well as antique shows, flea markets and dedicated antiques auctions held throughout the year. At the Cape Cod Antique Dealers Association’s indoor antiques show last summer, buyers and dealers alike gave the show a thumbs-up with strong attendance that drew many people away from the beach to peruse the offerings. More and more, young people have been joining the ranks of antiques buyers with a robust contingent seen at the association’s shows and other places, where children and students often are welcomed with free admission.
