About us A fully Australian owned and operated business, Martyr Training Services Pty Ltd has grown and developed over the years through our on-going commitment to provide safe and quality training.

Since its establishment in 2004 Martyr Training Services prides itself on being innovative and adaptable, anticipating and responding to emerging industry needs.

Based in Mount Isa, our locality provides us with flexibility to offer training as soon as it is identified; a one-stop shop, delivered on time, in full, every time.

Comprising of a team of five full time staff, two part time contracted staff, and partnership arrangements our business is growing at a steady pace.

Through our Registered Training Organisation we have the capacity to train and assess courses from nationally recognised training packages such as Mining, Civil, Transport and Logistics Business and Agriculture. Included in our scope of work are driver training courses, high risk licences and mine specific training.

Driver training is offered through a variety of vehicles ranging from C Class right through to the Heavy vehicle licence and Multi-combination Road train.

Our team recognises that in order to achieve an outstanding safety performance and best practice, we must have a proven systematic safety system, committed management and a pro-active workforce. We have implemented a comprehensive safety system across the business in full compliance with Workplace Health and Safety legislation. All employees and sub-contractors are fully engaged in the system and are made aware of their responsibilities through company and project inductions, toolbox meetings, Safe Work Methods (SWM’s) and / or Job Safety and Environment Assessments (JSEA). Martyr Training Services understands the potential and actual significant aspects of our company facilities and project locations and the effect that these impacts have on the local environment and the communities.

Risk management approach

Martyr Training Services is a Registered Training Organisation currently registered under the Australian Skills Quality Authority with registration number 31279. To continue registration we must be compliant with the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations 2011, formerly known as the Australian Quality Training Framework Standards for Continuing Registration, and maintain a continuous quality assurance system that assists with the delivery, monitoring and overall continuous improvement of the RTO as a whole. Annual internal audits are conducted along with desk and site audits by the governing body. Audits are viewed by our establishment as an opportunity to have our processes examined so that service delivery is improved resulting in client satisfaction. Martyr Training Services does not have any legal action pending. Safety of our customers, clients, staff and personnel is paramount to the
