The company offers a prompt, efficient and friendly dedicated professional fire engineering service. FCC is an established consultancy firm comprising of Fire Safety and Fire Protection Engineers accredited with all State Building Professional Boards. FCC facilitative approach assists to satisfy mandatory legislative compliance, satisfy Australian Standards, and codes of practice, maximise capital values and increase the life expectancy of property investment assets. FCC Mission is “To Ensure a Safe and Resilient Environment by Innovative Fire Prevention, Safety and Engineering Excellence” FCC has been involved in undertaking fire safety engineering since the introduction of performance based design in Australia. At this time, FCC is one of the oldest practices in performance based fire engineering solutions. From inception, FCC has been extensively involved with numerous prestigious projects. The company successfully dealt with tall residential towers, shopping centres, automated large warehouses, industrial complexes, defence projects, and much more. The Aged Care Facilities Reforms was one of the earliest projects, where FCC undertook fire safety assessments and provided fire engineering solutions throughout Queensland. The company introduced fully fire sprinkler protected and naturally ventilated warehouse design way back in 2000 that typically saves construction costs in the order of AUD$0.25 million, for warehouses having a floor area of >10000 m 2 . The warehouse fire safety design is now adopted Australia Wide. The company also developed a metal heat attenuation screen, installed in front of the window openings, to reduce the emitted heat radiation from a fire by up to 50%. FCC has expertise, and experience, to be a leader in Fire Safety Engineering, by practical engineering application to complex problems associated with new and existing buildings, built or upgraded to comply with the National Construction Code.
