ABOUT ADCON GROUP
Adcon has forged a reputation for delivering large multi-level building structures on time and on budget for its repeat clientele with projects throughout the East Coast of Australia.
Our in-house engineering department strives to develop formwork systems and methodologies that are combine efficiency and safety. We aim to deliver value to our clients by being adaptable to their needs. Our company has a vast depth of knowledge with over 30 years of construction experience.
Adcon Group operates for a large percentage of repeat clients who have made us their preferred contractor.
Our Approach
From conception Adcon Group of Companies Engineering Manager, Construction Manager, Programmers and Draftsman work together to provide a complete structure proposal which includes;
– Preliminary Designs – Formwork System Proposal – Screen and Jump Form Proposal
– Staging Plans (Tekla 3D & Autodesk Engineering) – Adcon’s Structure Programme (taking into
consideration pour sizes and durations)
The intention of this approach is to reduce the structure programme, without compromising quality and safety, whilst utilising the latest internally developed and manufactured formwork and structure systems. Based on this approach Adcon has found that 95% of projects programmes are reduced by up to 16 weeks from Head Contract Programme.

Adcon Engineering
During the Design Phase Adcon Engineering Team complete an RPE Engineering analysis on qualifications on loads, reactions and the like on all proposed elements. Whilst working with our Construction Department, Programmers and Safety Manager.
For complex and specialised project solutions our Design Team using the latest Tekla System and Autodesk Engineering and will then finalise shop drawings for our Manufacture Department to fabricate the project specific solution for access and edge protection screens, jump-form, cantilever or spanning formwork systems or high strutting table forms/systems to the specific requirements/constraints of our clients, which will match with all relevant staging plans and proposed construction methodology which all taken into consideration when developing the structure programme.

With the utilisation of the variety of our formwork systems, in connection with the use of our Revit and Tekla Modeling Systems Adcon’s focus is to remove risk, by proposing the right formwork system for each specific task we will work with your company to remove or mitigate risks where possible.

In a triumph of imagination, the apartments incorporate the city’s iconic SkyNeedle sculpture into their design creating an unmistakable and dramatic visual presence in the South Brisbane skyline.

Blue Sky Student Accommodation
The Blue Sky Student Accommodation Toowong project with its saw tooth precast façade design, the building required a complex platform screen solution, that climb precast panels. Adcon Engineering design and manufactured a inhouse hydraulic platform screen solution, something that no other formwork company was capable or prepared to consider. Providing a significant saving in terms of costs, crane time, construction. Adcon also provided a Jump Form System, for the Stair and Lift Core. The structure programme was 4.5 months for 17 suspended levels.

Lotus Tower is a collection of 12 townhomes, 183 apartments and 5 prestigious penthouses at Kangaroo Point Brisbane.
The building required a complete light-weight perimeter screen encapsulation solution. Adcon Engineering designed and manufactured our new light-weight self climbing straight screens as well as our crane assisted jump form system to the lift and stair core.

Icon Apartments Peninsula Apartments
Gazing over the sublime blue expanse of Brisbane Water to majestic national parkland, Icon has been designed to honour its name and is poised to become an iconic symbol of Gosford’s transformation. With a selection of 57 one, two and three bedroom apartments bordered by bushland reserve at the base of Waterview Park and Presidents Hill Lookout.
Adcon completed the construction of this project late 2018 and are excited to commence the next project with Central Construct, Peninsula Apartments also located in Gosford.
Exuding waterside luxury at its finest, Peninsula makes its home on scenic Point Frederick, Gosford’s most desirable address. Canberra’s largest ever residential development on the shores of Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen. the project will contain 41,325 cubic metres of concrete, 6125 tonnes of reinforcement, 60,000m2 of facade and 720km of electric cabling, which could stretch from Canberra to Sydney almost three times.
Adcon ACT is currently assisting Geocon with Stage 2 of the project with 2 hydraulic self climbing jumpforms well under way, and Adcon Engineerings own designed and manufactured self climbing platform screens will be installed on the project in the coming months.

Located at the junction for the Light Rail Stage 2, the impeccably positioned Grand Central Towers stays true to the promise of its name. Coming in at 26 and 18 storeys, what was once an office building is now the most expansive (and extraordinary) development in the area. And with the capacity to house commercial accommodation, health facilities, offices, restaurants and shops. Adcon Engineering have designed and manufactured their new electric self climbing jump forms for the two lift and stair cores on the project as well as light weight perimeter edge protection screens.

Montague Markets commenced in April 2018 with the retail and dining component to open in mid to late 2020. The new precinct will include a new full-line Woolworths supermarket 3,400sqm, 1,590sqm of specialty retail across 15 tenancies, alongside a vibrant 1,200sqm landscaped public plaza, central arcade and alfresco dining zone, 292 underground carpark bays, pedestrian and cycling paths and bike storage facilities. With the success Adcon Group had delivering the ‘South City Stage 1 structure’, ‘Stage 2′ was also secured for development.
This mixed-use structure known as ‘New Deshon’ will consist of 108 apartments. This structure has two high strutting (6m-8m and 4m-5m sloping) levels which Adcon is delivering under the current Formwork Code of Practice.

Westside Medical
The Westside Medical project on Morrow Street in Taringa is a Mixed Use Development. Adcon workedthrough the tender phase with the builder to develop a programme which provided a 4-month time saving. The use of Adcon’s Jump Form System enabled the project’s large and complex combined Stair and Lift Core to prevent stalling progression of the structure as decks and columns progressed.

Lumira Kawana Shopping Centre Carpark
Adcon Group delivered the 10 storey apartment complex in Newstead. Lumira Apartments(11,000m2) consist of 70 one and two bedroom apartments located 2 kilometres from Brisbane CBD.
The Stage 1 Kawana Shopping Centre Car Park Project is the fifth stage of the Mirvac managed Shopping Centre Expansion Project. The two level carpark will add 170 new carparks for the shopping centre whilst making 251 car parks undercover.
Adcon delivered this 10,000m2 Formwork Package within 2 months as a result of projectworks sequencing and access restrictions. Initial programs indicated a 6 week structure.

Adcon Group delivered the ‘Reading Cinema’ and Car Park expansion to the Newmarket Shopping Complex. This development, which is located 5kms North of the CBD, is a complex high strutting cinema structure. The Aveo Springfield Building 1 project is the first in a 24 Building Development in the “Health City” Precinct of Australia’s first private city. Adcon Group delivered the first stage (12,000m2), 5 level project, purpose built aged care residential apartment block in just 10 weeks approximately 8 weeks ahead of schedule on an already tight programme.
Based on the relationship forged Adcon Group also secured the Lot 7 Boggo Road Residential Development.

La Vida Newstead (38,000m2) is a dual tower development. Over 30 levels spread between the two towers highlights Adcon Group’s skill in delivering quality craftsmanship and bringing the development to life.
Regents Lane Woolloongabba is a 10 storey, 57 apartment (11,000m2) development. This tower was completed by Adcon Group in January of 2015 and offers one and two bedroom apartments located in the central Woolloongabba area.
