We Came In Peace is a collaborative studio of makers, thinkers

and artists who share a passion for creating transformative human

experiences. We weave together the physical, cultural and social

identities of a location with elevated design, strong visual identity

and engaging programming - transforming space into place.

Drawing upon our collective background in integrated advertising,

interior design, hospitality, event production, brand strategy and the

arts, we bring big-picture ideas to life while building economic value

for our partners and clients. We pay careful attention to patterns of

use, bringing beauty, charm, and smart design to any environment.

In the seven years since our company’s inception, we have produced

work for some of the most respected global brands across the fashion,

automotive, entertainment and luxury markets, at the most high-profile

happenings in the world. With offices in New York, Los Angeles, and

Within the increasingly crowded music industry, Spotify sought an activation that would win the hearts of touring artists at FYF Fest. To build genuine relationships with musicians, Spotify

needed to create a place that would organically foster authentic connections between their brand and the creative community.

Wrapped in a soft shroud of native trees and flowers, we invited artists to a peaceful reprieve from the festival environment. Resort-style amenities like concierge services and private

massages were wrapped in an effortlessly cool West Coast aesthetic. The Garden was a hot spot for those who came to relax, recharge and connect.

Inspired by Marfa’s open, minimal surroundings, historical art world relevance and magical energy, WCIP designed and programmed a playful and laid back coffeeshop for filmmakers and festival-goers.

This new social space allowed fostered an atmosphere that was creatively charged and community-driven, ultimately becoming its own stage for the collective festival experience.

commissioned artworks - were thoughtfully considered as we introduced the studio and the team behind it to the rest of the film world.

A verdant escape in the concrete jungle of Manhattan, The Vine is nestled between the Fashion and Floral districts and minutes from Madison Square Park - appealing to creative professionals and

Following the eastward movement of galleries into the changing neighborhood, we envisioned the space as a “living room” for the Chelsea Arts District - a connective place for artists, dealers,

and art lovers alike. The result was a contemporary collector’s library, brimming with playful curiosities, objets d’art, rare books and obscure botanical speci-mens plucked from the neighboring floral district.

A fully developed retail concept, this otherworldly floral shop was inspired by Persephone - queen of the underworld. Offering bewitching arrangements and unusual potted specimens inspired by

surrounding southern California environs, this temporary space made a big impression on the local and international design community.

WCIP collaborated with Revolve Detroit on an ArtPlace America Placemaking grant - with the goal of transforming a street into a destination. Coordinating with civic, state, and local

communities, our task was to reinvigorate vacant shops with art, design, and new business, igniting a neighborhood-wide shift towards a brighter future.

In order to grow the story of this once vibrant community, we proposed activating vacant shops with engaging public art, memorable environments, and rich participatory programming. Our dramatic

transformation launched 31 new art and entrepre-neurial projects to an audience of over 3,000 people. To date, all businesses are in operation and the Avenue of Fashion is thriving once again.
