New SLCS Profile

• Current IGTF approved version of the SLCS Profile is 2.1b, 09/02/2009

• Principal Policy Changes– SLCS CAs must issue a CRL– Lowered HSM operating mode to Level 2

• Language update– Brought up to date and in line with alterations

made to the other profile documents

• 8th TAGPMA F2F in La Plata City, Argentina, November 5-8, 2008 included Open Grid Day– For minutes see http://

approved.– MICS Profile language update for next F2F meeting.– FNAL CP/CPS approved, awaiting HSM installation

and operational review.– Updates on OpenCA, TAMP and PRQP.

GridCanada CA

• Originally, accredited member of the EUGridPMA.• As of Jan 2009, accreditation transferred to

TAGPMA.• CANARIE to hand over/back management and

operations of the Canadian Grid CA to Canadian National Research Council (NRC).

• Transition to take place over the next few months, Roger Impey will be the new POC.

• NRC then plan to update/upgrade software, policy etc.

• However, don’t expect any interruption to service.
