Victimae paschali laudes immolent Christiani. Agnus redemit oves: Christus innocens Patri reconciliavit peccatores. Mors et vita duello conflixere mirando: dux vitae mortuus, regnat vivus. Dic nobis Maria, quid vidisti in via? Sepulcrum Christi viventis, et gloriam vidi resurgentis: Angelicos testes, sudarium, et vestes Surrexit Christus spes mea: praecedet suos in Galilaeam. Scimus Christum surrexisse a mortuis vere: tu nobis, victor Rex, miserere. Amen. Alleluia.

Let Christians offer praises to the Paschal victim. The Lamb redeemed his sheep: Christ, the innocent, reconciled sinners to the Father. Death and life clashed in a battle at which we stand amazed: The General of Life, dead, now reigns living Tell us, Mary, what did you see on the way? I saw the sepulcher of the living Christ and his arising glory: Angelic witnesses, the napkin, and garments. Christ, my hope, arose: He goes before his men into Galilee. We know Christ to have truly risen from death: Thou, to us, O victor King, be merciful. Amen. Alleluia.

1. Sinfonia 2. Verse 1 - Chorale Christ lay in death's bonds given over for our sins, He has risen again and brought us life; therefore we should be joyful, praise God and be thankful to Him and sing Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
