Principal’s messageWhat a wild week of weather! Thankfully, we have been spared the destruction of other areas, our thoughts are with those family and friends who may have been affected. Unfortunately, we have had to postponed our Infants and Primary Cross Country carnival this Friday as there is more rain predicated and 130 runners will have an adverse effect on the golf course and our oval. It has been rescheduled to Term 2, Week 1 - Tuesday 20th April.
Our school leaders have headed off to Sydney with Ms Laurie and Miss Dixon to attend the Halogen Leadership Conference in Darling Harbour. It’s always a wonderful excursion where the leaders get to experience the sights of Sydney and witness some amazing motivational speakers.
The local Police Liaison Officer will be oming in to see Year 5 and 6 students a cybersafety talk next Monday. This is very pertinent considering the email I sent to parents last week and as school holidays approach; a friendly reminder from our local police officer about digital safety will not go astray.
Week 10 will only be a short week for our students, as Thursday is a pupil free day followed by Good Friday. Please see Zoe Campbell’s winning poster in this week’s newsletter to remind parents not to send students to school next Thursday. It’s no joke!
Have a great week!
