Canadian Lynx

There are 38 known species of mammals that are becoming extinct and they are kept in captivity so that, scientists can study them so their species will be saved.

ON THE VERGE OF BEING EXTINCT

One of those mammals are the Canadian lynx because there are only 10,000 species left in the world and, most Canadian lynx are dying because they are being killed by predators and mostly hunters.

WHAT ANIMAL IS BECOMING EXTINCT

Most baby Canadian lynx are raised by humans until they are old enough to live in the wild because it is to dangerous to live in the wild when they are little because the will be killed by a hunter or predator.

BEING RAISED

Canadian lynx are very fluffy and have a beautiful coat of fur there coat of fur shines in the rays of the sun. They have eyes as yellow as the sun and their coat of fur is as soft as a rabbit.
