Maya and Vivek Kulkarni will be holding a satsang on Aug 24, 2013 at their Mississauga residence, as the punyattithi of H.H. Shrimat Parijnanashram Swamiji falls on the day..

Important Dates in July, Aug 2013

AGM was held at Vivek and Shefali Benegal's residence. The current executive team will continue to serve for the remaining one year term. The main highlights of the meetings were as follows. i.$ 3000.00 (Rs. 1.67 lakhs), as agreed upon in the last AGM of April 15, 2013, was remitted to Shri Chitrapur Math as one time contribution of Capital Vantiga from Canada Sabha. The amount of $4270.00, the individual member Vantiga contributions, was also remitted to Shri Chitrapur Math. Somshekar Naimpallymam's vantiga contribution was specifically acknowledged. ii.2012-2013 Canada Sabha financial statement was approved. iii.Shri Chitrapur Math 2013-2014 calendars were distributed to members.

iv.Chaturmas will be held at Mangalore(Kodial Math) between July 22-September 19, 2013.Since Seel-molanghan (end of Chaturmas) falls on Thursday September 19th, a notice will be sent to members for their choice of date to celebrate this event either on 19th or Saturday 21st at the Credit River, Missis-sauga. H.H. Parijnanashram Swamiji III celebrated the Seemolanghan at the above location during H.H. visit to Canada in 1979. v.Updated on Chitrapur Heritage Canada's compliance of Corporate requirments of Govt. of Ontario. vi. Canada Sabha website will be updated by uploading Rudrabhishek, Sabha prayer book and Antaran-gani(lyrics).

vii. Commemorative celebrations of 10th anniversary of Canada Sabha incorporation and 35th anniver-sary of H.H. Parijnanashram Swamiji III visit to Canada were discussed. The above anniversaries fall in 2013-2014 period. This point was raised by Sadanand Mankikar. Further details will be followed short-ly.

Annual Math Vantiga Our regular Vantiga payers, please consider to mail your contributions for 2013-2014 by the end of January 2014 to Sabha Treasurer Shri Vinayak Shanbhag at 5372 Floral Hill Crescent, Mississauga, ON L5V 1V3.(Tel.905-286-1896 e-mail:vvshanbhag@yahoo.com). You can make cheque payable to CSCS in C$ or if you are paying in Rupees through a bank account in India, please make cheque payable to Shri Chitra-pur Math. However if you are sending your Vantiga contributions directly (in Rupees or C$) to Shri Chitrapur Math, we would appreciate if you would let us know the amount you have sent. This is because we can total up all contributions from Canada Sabha members/math dev-otees by the end of March 2014 (fiscal end period for Shri Chitrapur Math for 2013-2014) and we can track the progress of Vantiga contributions on a year to year basis. We thank those who have already paid Vantiga dues.
