An impression of the northern Canadian wilderness is captured in Arctic, by the Canadian artist A. Y. Jackson. The painter was a member of the Group of Seven, a group of influential Canadian artists of the early and mid-1900s whose purpose was to create images that reflected the Canadian landscape.
