• Modeling the small intestine using visking tubing.
Small intestine
As food passes along the long tube of the small intestine, its molecules become small enough to be absorbed into the blood through the intestine walls.
Visking tubing
• Visking tubing has small holes in that only let small molecules like glucose through, but not big starch molecules.
