Three research institutes on the Can Ruti Campus, located around the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital, are organizing the prestigious Campus Can Ruti Biomedical Series. The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute and the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) are all recognized by the Catalan research institution CERCA and under the Instituto Carlos III umbrella accreditation of the IGTP as a health centre of excellence.

The seminars feature leading international scientists and are an important part of the continuing education on the campus. The objective is to give professionals and students the opportunity to hear keynote talks from leading international researchers in different fields and to promote collaboration and multidisciplinary re-search.

They are free to attend and open to all publics.
