WHAT’S ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2015 CAN recognizes VIVA C ancer Aware Nation (CAN) recognized VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, for sponsoring the Marathon held on last Saturday. Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, Senior Manager Public Relations at VIVA, received the trophy from CAN’s representative, Dr Rashid Al-Hamad, after the marathon. VIVA has announced last week its sponsorship for this event that combines between health and sport that meets its CSR plans, as it’s always keen to support different activities that aim to serve the society and spread the awareness among its members. VIVA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities can be reviewed on the company’s website at https://www.viva.com.kw/csr. This offers a description of each CSR initiative that VIVA has supported, or taken on since its inception. P romoting health awareness and encouraging healthy lifestyle are part of the activities of Cancer Awareness Nation (CAN), which organized a marathon on Friday that ended at the Green Island. Several establishments sponsored the event including Al-Sanabel Al-Thahabiya and its principal Sebamed.
