CAMPGROUND RULES: • Recreational campers only. • You must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation. All campsites must be occupied by at least one adult age 18 or older. • Permit holder is responsible for all individuals on site. All children must have adult supervision. • The permit holder is liable for any damages to park or campsite. • The City reserves the right to evict anyone, without refund, for violating the rules, destroying or defacing property, creating a disturbance, or non-payment. • Any vehicle or RV occupying a site unauthorized, or ordered to be removed from a site, must vacate the site immediately upon notification from the City. • If a vehicle or RV must be towed to remove it from a site, all associated costs will be the responsibility of the vehicle or RV owner. The City is not responsible for any damage caused by having to remove that vehicle or RV. RV SITE INFORMATION: • Each RV site fee includes up to six persons, one wheeled sleeping unit, and one tent. • There is a fee for each additional tent and for every person over six people, regardless of age. • Maximum occupancy of an RV/Campsite is twelve persons and only one wheeled sleeping unit per site. PRIMITIVE CAMPSITE INFORMATION : • The primitive campsite fee includes up to six persons and two sleeping units. • No more than one wheeled sleeping unit per site. • There is a fee for each additional tent and for every person over six people, regardless of age. • Maximum occupancy of a standard primitive campsite is 12 persons. PARKING: • Parking along paved roads, on grass, or in an unoccupied site is prohibited. • All vehicles parked at a site must be parked on the gravel or concrete of that site. • All vehicles parked at a site must have an authorized hang-tag. Additional parking is available on parking lots throughout the park. QUIET HOURS: 11p.m.-7 a.m. (unless otherwise noted) CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Check in time is 2 p.m. Check out time is noon. RV REQUIREMENTS: • A sewer collar must always be used. Sewer collars are available for purchase at RV Check-in. • Skirting on RVs must be professionally fabricated, color-matched, and installed in an aesthetically pleasing way. Plastic sheeting, unfinished plywood, tarps, or other makeshift skirting items are not permissible. Skirting is only permissible in the off-peak season. HOW LONG CAN I STAY? • A three-night minimum stay may be required during specific time periods, special events, and holidays. • There is a 60-day maximum stay in the RV sites during the peak season (April–October). • There is a two-week maximum stay per calendar year in the primitive campsites. The two weeks cannot be consecutive. • There is a one-week maximum stay in any non- wheeled sleeping unit in the park. Additional one-week stays may be added up to the maximum allowed for that site type, but each stay must be separated by a minimum of 7-days out of the park. PROHIBITED: • DO NOT trench around tents. • DO NOT discharge sewage or gray water on the ground or in the lakes and waterways. • DO NOT wash vehicles or RV’s in the park. • DO NOT hang items from trees. • NO use of electrical insect-killing devices. • DO NOT install permanent structures in the park. • NO horse trailers, tractor trailers, bunk house trailers, etc. • DO NOT cover multiple structures with a tarp. No tarp may extend more than 6” beyond the single structure it is covering. • NO solicitation or selling any item (including resale of a campsite). • NO sleeping overnight in a vehicle not designed for camping (unless special permission is granted by the City). WHAT IS ALLOWED? • Glass containers are only allowed on campsites. • Stand-alone propane tanks are only permissible during the off-peak season. Additional rules apply. • Golf carts and motorized scooters may be operated by licensed drivers only. This equipment is allowed on park roads, parking lots and within the RV and camping areas from sunrise to sunset. Absolutely no motorized equipment allowed on trails. TRASH: • Please dispose of trash in the dumpster provided. No littering. • All sites must be kept tidy. Customers who cannot keep their site aesthetically pleasing may be asked to vacate the park. CAMPFIRES: • Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. • Do not move fire rings. • Gathering of firewood in the park is strictly prohibited; firewood is available at the RV/ Check-in Station. • Never leave campfire unattended. • Do not discard ashes in trash or on grass. • Burning trash in the fire ring is strictly prohibited. PETS: • A maximum of three domestic pets are allowed per campsite. • Pets must have current vaccines. • Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length when off reserved site. • Pets must be reasonably quiet, restrained and always supervised. • Pet owners are responsible for the clean-up of their pet’s waste. • Pets must not be tied to trees. • Non-domestic or exotic animals are prohibited. PARK / TRAIL RULES The park is open sunrise to sunset unless otherwise specified on permit.• Help protect the beauty of the trees, trails, and wildlife by not

damaging the property. No cutting, carving, or driving nails into trees and no digging or picking up plants.

• Hunting is not allowed in City Parks. Use of firearms is prohibited.• Please dispose of trash in proper receptacles.• Use of fireworks is prohibited.• Use of drones is prohibited.• All buildings are smoke free. • Pedestrians, skaters and bicyclist all share the trails. Be courteous

and respectful. Bicyclist should sound an audible warning (verbal or mechanical) when passing pedestrians or skaters from behind.

• Motorized vehicles are prohibited on trails.• Pets must be on a leash and owners are responsible for immediate

clean-up of pet waste.• Park in designated parking spaces only. Parking on grass is

prohibited.• No person shall leave any personal items unattended in 370

Lakeside Park for more than 24 hours. In the event of an evacuation, the City will not remove customer’s personal items from the Park regardless of whether the items belong to a paying customer or a non-paying park user. No person with items in 370 Lakeside Park shall travel away from the park further than 24 hours-travel time so they are able to retrieve their personal items in the event of an evacuation.

LAKE RULESAll persons fishing or launching watercraft must obtain the proper permit from the RV Check-in before accessing the water. Nominal fishing and lake use fees may apply.• Use of lake is allowed March through November with approved

permit.• All watercraft must be off the lake at least 30 minutes before

sunset and may not be placed on the water until after sunrise, unless a night-use permit has been issued.

• Glass containers are not allowed on lake.• Diving or swimming in lake is prohibited. • Ice skating on lake is prohibited.• All persons fishing must abide by the Missouri Wildlife Code and

other posted regulations.• Cleaning of fish in restrooms/showers/laundry facilities is

prohibited.Boaters must follow all U.S.C.G. and Missouri Boating Rules and Regulations in addition to the following rules:• Trailered watercraft is permitted to access the lake at the boat

launch ramp only. • Only electric trolling motors are permitted. Gasoline motors may

be attached to boats, but may not be used.• All persons using inflatable watercraft must wear a personal

floatation device (PFD).• All persons riding or operating canoes, kayaks or sailboards under

16 feet in length must wear a personal floatation device (PFD).• The total height of any vessel, including sails, masts, antennas, etc.

must not exceed 24 feet above water level. This includes sailboats, windsurfs and sailboards.

• Kiteboarding is prohibited.

In case of severe weather, take shelter in the Comfort Station.
