ABOUT THE CAMP: Lake Retreat is located in Ravensdale, Washington — 30 miles southeast of Seattle. This completely wooded camp is the perfect setting for the best Kids Camp ever! Some of the activities include: swimming at the lake, outdoor basketball and volleyball, a giant blob, a 3-story climbing wall, boating, sports competitions, wooded trails and streams and much more! VISITORS POLICYFor the security of our campers, camp is closed to visitors who are not registered campers or approved camp/program staff. This includes family members, relatives and friends.

MAIL It’s always a special treat to receive some mail while at camp. We encourage you to write a note or two of encouragement to your son or daughter to bless them. Also, you can send some cookies or treats to them that they can share with other campers in their cabin group. You can address your letters to:

SPENDING MONEY Your kids will have the opportunity to visit the camp store to buy snacks or souvenirs during free time. If you wish you can send a little money with them (and some friendly advice on how to spend it!)

MEDICATIONSAll campers must turn in all nonprescription and prescription medications to the camp nurse upon arrival. Medications must be in original containers. The dosage written on the prescription label will be administered unless changed in writing by the physician. Some over-the-counter medications are available at camp.

Please do not send your child to camp if they are ill with the flu or other infectious diseases.

TRANSPORTATION Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from camp. If you have any questions, please contact your church’s camp coordinator.

ARRIVALCheck-in: Monday, August 23, at 2 p.m. Please do not arrive early.

DEPARTURECampers will be ready to depart at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28. Please be prompt!
