    CAMPMEETING 2011REVIVE US AGAIN

Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Psalm 80:18

Next Year at CampmeengWonderful things happen at campmeeng. I

sat down and spoke with Pastor David Fulks,

from Adrian First Church, who shared his tes-

mony during morning devoons one day this

week. He told about how he gave his life to the

Lord at campmeeng when he was 16, andhow it completely changed, not only his life,

but who he was. Many stories similar to Pastor Davids can be

heard about people who were saved, sanc-

ed, or got a call to ministry while aending a

campmeeng. Many Pastors and their wives

use campmeeng as a me of spiritual re-

freshing, a me to just sit and soak in the Spir-

it, so they can go back to their churches and

connue to minister to others with a renewed

enthusiasm. Many families look forward to this

week as the me they all come together every

year. There are stories of rst kisses and bud-

ding romances that blossomed into marriages.

One saint said of this week This was the best

campmeeng in 50 years! Doesnt every year

feel that way though, and dont we go home

ancipang the next year when we can return?

The Jews had a saying they would repeat dur-

ing those mes when their hearts were longing

to return home, to the place where they, as a

people, met with God and were changed. They

    said, Next Year in Jerusalem!

My heart is already ancipang, and it makes

me wanna say Next year at Campmeeng!

    Joke of The Day

Three boys are in the schoolyard bragging about

their fathers. The first boy says, "My Dad scribbles a

few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem,

    they give him $50."

The second boy says, "That's nothing. My Dad scrib-

bles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a

    song, they give him $100."

The third boy says, "I got you both beat. My Dad

scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it

a sermon. And it takes eight people to collect all the

    money!"

    $45,000.00 Pledged to Tabernacle Re-

    pairs

25 people stood up and pledged to give $1,000

dollars each toward the much needed repairs in

    our tabernacle.

Then two people after service pledged $10,000

each. Only $5,000 to go, and I believe we could

have it before the weekend is over. Could you be

the one God is asking to give?
