Luggage Drop Off
Students drop their luggage and bedroll off at Ed Willkie on Sunday March 20th, between 2-3pm
Monday Bus Ride
Be at Ed Willkie by 7:30am to load up. Bring your pillow, backpack, sack lunch. Rest stop at Oklahoma Border.
Lunch at Goddard Youth Camp!
Three hot meals a day
Full service cafeteria that offers seconds
Food is well received by students
Students bus and wipe down their table after each meal.
Sweep cabins daily
Mopping cabins final day
Cleaning bathrooms at least once
Cleaning the classroom
Money The tuition for camp is covered by the
district The students will only need money for a
snack at the rest stop on the way to camp, 2 or 3 days of canteen where they can purchase 3 items, the gift shop at the museum, and a snack on the way home
We suggest around $25-30 (some in small bills and change for the vending machine)
Medical Concerns Please supply enough prescription
medicines to last the entire week – prescriptions are difficult or impossible to fill over state lines
Asthmatics – bring inhalers/medication (we usually don’t have many asthma problems)
We carry all necessary first aid equipment along with basic over the counter medicines
Behavior Problems
Parents will be contacted to arrange transportations home (no matter what time)
