visual representation, as well as a description of how the technique is used within the film
industry.

How am I used in a film?The shot shows very little background and concentrates on either a face or a very specific object. Also everything in the background will be blur to make the audience on focus on the main character etc.

How am I used in a film? Establishing shot is normally the first shot of a new scene, and is to show the audience where all the action are going to happen.

Rules of FramingDetailed explanationAll the shots are about composition. Rather placing the camera on the subject, the image needs to be composed. Framing is a process of creating composition.
How am I used in a film?It is used to make the subject more appealing and attention grabbing.
The rules of thirdDetailed explanation: This helps you to place your subject within the frame. Which means the frame has to divide in to nine sections. This makes reference point and a guide to where to place the subject etc.
How am I used in a film?The subject should occur at 1/3 or 2/3 of the way up the frame but not on the centre.
