Since it was established by the UK water industry in 1981, WaterAid and our partners have helped more than 21 million people get safe water and 18 million people access improved toilets. With your continued support we believe everyone, everywhere can have clean water by 2030.

Ayasha Siddika lives in the Kalshi Takar Baa slum in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Working with a local partner, WaterAid built a deep tube well bringing clean water to the area. Water is piped to taps throughout the settlement so Ayasha and her family have clean water to drink, cook and wash with.

National challenge events:2 staff members took part in the Great North Run and the London Marathon raising a total of £1,920. This could pay for 5 handpumps.
Bill inserts:Including WaterAid leaflets in your customer water bills has helped us to raise awareness and reach new supporters.
Last year, this raised
£2,271.
Since 1995 it has helped us recruit 1,514 new donors, raising an incredible £1,435,892. That’s enough to help 95,726 people get safe water.
