AICE PROGRAM

The Cambridge AICE Programme (Advanced International Certificate of Education) is an international academic acceleration program for the independent, advanced learner.

The Cambridge approach helps to develop learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged. The

hallmarks of the program include a commitment to individualized learning, advanced academic curriculum, and written assessment

program. The Cambridge AICE curriculum is comprehensive and flexible – it allows each student to design a schedule of

accelerated courses around his or her skills and interests.

What is the Cambridge AICE Program?

AICE is recognized as the equivalent to first-year standing at more than 450 colleges and universities in 130 states.

Cambridge qualifications are recognized by the world’s best universities and employers, giving students a wide range of options in their education and career.

Students can earn up to 45 hours of college credit for successfully passed Cambridge AICE exams. Students could receive individual course certificates and

earn college credit even if they do not receive the diploma.

Students who earn the AICE Diploma, and have 100 community service hours, automatically receive the Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholars Award. Students

who complete the Cambridge program's curriculum, but do not earn the AICE diploma can still earn the Academic Scholars Award with appropriate SAT and ACT

test scores.

Graduating with the AICE Diploma makes students more competitive in the college application process. AICE not only prepares students to get into a university, but it also provides them with the skills required to be successful once there. Cambridge

International Examinations prepares students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.

• Learners must achieve a minimum of seven credits(including Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research) from subject groups 1, 2, and 3 (and optionally Group 4).

• Learners must achieve at least one credit from each of Groups 1, 2 and 3.

• The remaining credits can come from any of the groups. A Cambridge International AS Level is awarded one credit, and a Cambridge International A Level is awarded two credits.
