Summer Camp Some Slots Still Available Summer is quickly approaching and it is almost time for Calvary Kids Camp again! We have a few more spots in this full-day summer camp (8:30-5:30) for elementary aged students (completed K-5th). Camp runs June 26-30, July 10-14, July 26-28, and July 31-August 4. Facility Updates Work Continues in Memorial Hall The drop ceiling will soon be replaced—so please excuse the work-in-progress. Thank you.

AC Update in the Classrooms There will be new AC (wall mounted) units installed over the next couple of weeks (hopefully this week while the temperatures are a little cooler and they are not needed), in the classrooms offices, and small meeting room. This will replace the window units currently being used. This is part of the Linn Foundation Grant that was received to improve the windows and air conditioning. Please excuse any dust or noise while this vital improvement goes in. Thank you.

Final Wednesday Dinner, May 31 For many years the Arlington Diner (on Glebe Rd. near Giant) has been providing our Wednesday Night Dinners (at cost). At the end of this month the diner will be closing—and we wish them all the best with retirement. The last scheduled Wednesday Night Dinner here will be on May 31. We sincerely thank the Arlington Diner for their many years of support for this weekly event.

Calvary Meal Packaging Event Calvary has partnered with Outreach, Inc. to pack 13,000 meals in Harris Hall on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 9am-noon. These meals will be sent to Haiti. We need at least 60 volunteers to pack the meals. Teams of 8 – 10 people form assembly lines to fill the bags with ingredients; then weigh, seal, and pack them in shipping boxes. Families are invited to participate with parents supervising their children. A video of an Outreach event can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GNU-WT7-VI. Volunteers who can help unload and move bags of ingredients into Harris Hall are needed at 8:30am. Please plan to arrive at 8:45am, but late arrivals can also participate.
