Truthfully, I did the work experience for my dad and I thought it’s not quite for me, I wanted something where I was helping patients that were healthy and would come back.

You know I looked for a vocation to work with people and stumbled across dentistry as something that my sixth form teacher recommended. I’d geared all my GCSE’s up for medicine so I sort of went into shock and thought teeth are you joking?

You see I did the work experience with the local dentist and he was lovely and I dis-covered that was my vocation and went off to dental school and I’ve not looked back since. I love being a dentist!

I went to Guys and St. Thomas’s medical school and I qualified in the year 2000. Since then I’ve done lots and lots of courses, I’ve been to America and done some cosmetic courses.

Q. Will My Real Teeth Be Affected By Dental Implants?

A. Your other teeth will not be affected because of missing teeth. Since replacing

missing teeth with implants supported crowns which bridges do not involve the adjacent natural teeth, they are not compromised or damaged.
