Call for Exhibitors EMC research and conferences in Europe have a long tradition. From the series of independent EMC Symposia based in Wroclaw, Zurich and Rome running every second year, has emerged EMC Europe which is organised every year in a European city to provide an international forum for the exchange of technical information on EMC. The 2020 EMC Europe Symposium will be held at the Engineering Faculty of Sapienza University of Rome, in September 7-11, 2020. The Symposium will cover the entire scope of electromagnetic compatibility including emerging technologies. Oral and Poster Sessions, Workshops, Tutorials, Short-Courses, Special Sessions will be organised. In addition, an EMC exhibition will be held in parallel with the conference. The Exhibition offers an excellent opportunity for all segments of EMC Community to meet, providing an international gathering for everyone involved in technologies associated with RF, Microwave, Antenna, EMC Instrumentation, Analysis Software, Materials and Nanotechnologies, Books and Journals.   • Exhibition Regulations, Rules and Charges International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility

    Rome, Italy, September 7-11, 2020 I. Location of the Exhibition Faculty of Engineering - Sapienza University of Rome Via Eudossiana 18 - 00184 Rome, Italy II. Duration of the Exhibition From Tuesday, September 8, 2020, to Thursday, September 10, 2020, 09:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The Host reserves the right to alter the exhibit hours in any manner in the best interest of all exhibitors. III. Eligible Exhibitors Exhibition of military products, equipments, publications and posters is not allowed. Host reserves the right to determine the eligibility in the Exhibition of any company or product. IV. Standard Booth Space Description A standard booth space is minimum 3m wide. A standard booth equipment includes side and back walls, carpeted flooring, one table/counter, three chairs, one signboard with the exhibitor's corporate name, and power supply. The rental of a standard booth includes also booth cleaning and security surveillance. V. Exhibitor Registration Each booth space rental entitles the renter to one Regular Symposium Registration (free access to all technical and social events) for an Exhibitor employer, invitation tickets to Exhibition area for customers that must be pre-registered. VI. Rental Fee The price to rent a standard booth is € 2.500,00 + VAT 22% (€=Euro). The fee includes one Regular Symposium Registration and invitation tickets to the Exhibition area. The payment should be settled in full by bank transfer or credit card once you received confirmation of the space. VII. Booth Optional Furniture Fee Ask for desired option (refrigerator, glass case, …) VIII. Carpeting and Services Special carpeting, additional furniture and draperies, additional signs and other booth services can be provided under separate contract between the Exhibitor and the Symposium decorating contractor. Full information on available services and charges can be provided upon request. IX. Reimbursement Host will reimburse 50% of the rental fee if the Exhibitor withdraws by August 1st, 2020, in a written form to the EMC Europe Symposium 2020 Secretariat X. Security Host does not assure responsibility for theft from or damage to exhibits. XI. Limitations of Liability The Exhibitor agrees to make no claim for any reason whatsoever against the Host or its staff for loss, theft, damage or destruction of products, nor for injury to himself or his employees, while in the venue of the Exhibition. XII. Exhibitor Liability The Exhibitor agrees to protect, save and hold the Host, and all agents and employees (hereinafter collectively called indemnities) thereof forever harmless for any damages or charged imposed for violations of any law or ordinance, whether occasioned by the negligence of the Exhibitor, or those holding under the Exhibitor, and, further, the Exhibitor will at all times protect, indemnity, save and hold harmless the indemnities against and from any and losses, costs, damages, liability or expenses arising from or out of by

  • reason of any accident or bodily injury or other occurrences to any person or persons, including the Exhibitor, its agents, employees and invitees which arises from or out of or by reason of said Exhibitor's occupancy and use of the Exhibition premises. XIII. Insurance Exhibitors must insure themselves against risks of damage and theft. When an Exhibitor signs the Registration Form, he binds himself to take out insurance and to forgo all claims on the Host in the event of loss or damage. The Host assumes no civil liability other than that concerning its stated functions and, similarly, it assumes no responsibility for objects exhibited, apparatus or rented articles, or any damage caused by third persons to said objects. XIV. Restrictions Exhibitors will not make contracts in the aisles or in a booth other than their own. Booth representatives shall wear proper badge identification, provided by the Host, at all times when within EMC Europe Symposium 2020 premises. Exhibitors will submit to Host, at least thirty (30) days before opening date of the event, a list of all eligible booth representatives. No noisy or obstructive material will be permitted during the opening hours of the Exhibition. Exhibitors are liable for any damage caused by fastening displays to floors, walls or columns or to the standard booth equipment, or for damage caused in any other matter. XV. Exhibitor Admittance When the Exhibition is closed, Exhibitors will not be permitted both to enter the Exhibition premises earlier than one hour before the opening time and to remain there after the closing hour, with the exception of the final day. Every alteration to the proposed schedule must be arranged with the Host in advance. XVI. Installation and Dismantling Installation and dismantling operations will be fixed by the Host and communicated to the Exhibitors. It is not permitted to set up or break down stands during the Exhibition. Exhibitors will also be liable for all storage and handling charges resulting from failure to remove the material from the Exhibition premises after the expiration date mentioned above. XVII. Attendance and Worker Passes Worker passes are necessary for all unregistered installation and dismantling staff who wish to access to the Exhibition premises during installation and dismantling hours, specified by the Host. The Host will have the sole control over all admission policies at all time. XVIII. Failure to hold the Exhibition Should any contingency, outside the Host's control, prevent the holding of the Exhibition, the Host will refund only the rental fee in full to the Exhibitor. XIX. Jurisdiction Tribunal Any and all matters or questions not specially covered by these regulations will be subject solely to the decision of the Host. The contracting parties declare that they agree to submit any dispute that may arise out of the execution or interpretation of these Regulations to the jurisdiction of the civil tribunal of the city of Rome
