Contact us at: [email protected] The Auburn City Schools Art Exhibition held each Spring at JDCAC featured close to 600 colorful artworks by Junior High, Middle School, Elementary and Early Education students. Forty-five talented children are enrolled in the AAA’s Spring Art for Homeschoolers classes offered by instructors Amy Kaiser (pictured) and Julie Plasketes. New paintings by AAA member Mary Ann Casey can be seen at the Perch Jewelry Studio on South Gay Street. Alabama Views and Words, a new book of photo- graphs by Frank Uhlig along with commentaries by area writers will be available this May. June 7 - July 14 The Summer Show: Southern Artists and Craftpersons An invitational exhibition highlighting the variety and skill of regional artists and craftpersons. July 25 - August 31 The Summer Invitational: Six by Six A group show of works by six artist and photographers. Thanks also to Alicia Hames for coordinating the Auburn City Schools Art Show and to June Dean for keeping the Open Studio program organized.
