Call for Abstracts – Deadline extended to 20th October 2015

The deadline for submission of abstracts to FET Student Academic Conference has been extended till 20th October 2015. The organizing committee invites all students registered with the Study Programmes offered by the Faculty of Engineering Technology to submit abstracts based on their undergraduate projects, and once accepted after review process, present them to an audience comprising of students, staff and selected industry personnel.

The abstracts prepared according to the template given here needed to be submitted through email to the following respective departmental representatives with the consent of the main supervisor, before 20th October 2015.

Accepted abstracts for the presentation at the conference will be published as “Proceedings of the Student Academic Conference – 2015”

Further, to assist the students in writing abstracts, a workshop will be conducted on 7th

October 2015 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at Block 12.1. More details are given in the attached notice.

The organizing committee earnestly request Heads of Departments and the undergraduate project coordinators of the departments to encourage undergraduate or postgraduate students to participate in the above workshop and to contribute to the FET- Student Academic Conference and make it a success.
