Key Points 01/06 – 01/13
Friday • Drier with very cold temperatures expected. Possibility of icy roads across
portions of Northern California. Saturday-Monday
• Moderate to heavy precipitation northern 2/3 of California. Many hydro concerns including: • Flooding along small creeks/streams • Clogged drains with inundated flat lands and agricultural areas • Debris flows and mudslides possible over burn scars • Main stem flooding for the following rivers:
• Cosumnes River • Truckee River • Merced River • Feather River • Sacramento River
Tuesday - Thursday • Another round of heavy precipitation with significant impacts to
travel along with continued hydro issues across much of the state.
