– Business outreach– Finding buyers for products– Loans with attractive rates/terms

• Services & incentives offered by Local Government– Local funding sources (bonds, grants, redevelopment

funding)– Permitting and siting assistance– Reduced utility rates

(1) RecycleStore – Expanded Marketing Services (2005-DI-3)

• Complete pilot marketing effort

• Implement new SBDC project– Webinar training– Links to all SBDC sites

• $75,000 per FY (for 3 FY)

(2) Zone Administrator Training Workshops (2005-DI-5)

• Purpose: Continuing Education

• 3 workshops each year

• Examples: Environmental Justice, C & D, Enhancing the RMDZ Loan Program

• $100,000 per FY (for 3 FY)

(3) RMDZ Business Intervention Services (2005-DI-8)

• Similar to Tire Business Assistance Program• Targets: “at risk” RMDZ loan recipients• Some services provided via this contract:

– Research & development– Economic gardening research for new markets– Product commercialization efforts
