3.2 Principle

Here is a short summary of the principle of polaro-graphic measurement on which this sensor is based(Clark 1961).

a) The Clark polarographic sensor basically consist ofa working electrode (cathode), a counter/referenceelectrode (anode), and an oxygen permeablemembrane which separates the electrodes from thesample medium.

b) The transmitter supplies a constant polarizationvoltage to the cathode, needed to reduce oxygen.

c) The oxygen molecules which migrate through thepermeable membrane are reduced at the cathode. At the same time, oxidation takes place at the an-ode and oxidized anode metal (silver) is liberatedas silver ions into the electrolyte. The electrolytecloses the electric circuit between anode and cath-ode (ion conductivity).

d) The current produced by the reactions describedabove is measured by the transmitter and is pro-portional to the partial pressure of oxygen (pO2 ) inthe sample medium.

Additionally, the InPro 6900 features a guard ring cath-ode which guarantees rapid response by the sensorand good signal stability at low DO concentrations.

Please refer to «Section 10 - Theory of the polarograph-ic sensor» for further information.

4 Installation

4.1 Mounting the sensor

Important! Remove the watering cap before mountingthe sensor.

Mounting the sensor in a housing

Please refer to the instruction manual of your housingexplaining on how to mount the sensor in place.

Mounting the sensor directly on a pipe or a vessel

The 12 mm sensors can be mounted directly througha socket with inside thread Pg 13.5 and securely tight-ened via the Pg 13.5 threaded sleeve.

4.2 Connection

4.2.1 Connecting the InPro6900 to a VP cable

Sensors with ISM functionality require the use of a spe-cial VP-8 cable as well as an ISM-compatible O2 trans-mitter. The sensor is connected to the transmitter via aVP cable. The VP cable ensures a secure connectionbetween the transmitter and the sensor under harsh in-dustrial conditions. The robust watertight IP68 connec-tor housing guarantees maximum process safety. If you have chosen to use a sensor with ISM function-ality, the VP connector will incorporate an EEPROMchip. It is absolutely necessary to protect this electron-ic component against any electrical charge.

Do not touch the sensor at the VP connector plug.

To connect the VP cable to the sensor align the slit ofthe VP connector with the pin in the plug. Then tightlyscrew the plug to fasten the two parts.

5 Operation

Attention! Before using the sensors for the first time, theelectrolyte should be replaced (see «Chapter 6.2»).Due to possible adverse conditions during transportand storage (e.g. airfreight; pressure and temperaturevariations), the quality of the electrolyte may becomeimpaired. Poor electrolyte quality can lead to erroneousmeasurement values.

5.1 Start-up and polarizing

Attention! The watering cap must be removed beforemounting the sensor in the process.

When the system is operated for the first time or if thesensor has been disconnected from the voltage source(transmitter or O2 Sensor-Master) for longer than 5minutes, the sensor has to be polarized prior to cali-bration by connecting it to the operating O2 transmitteror to a sensor master. After 6 hours, the sensor is ful-ly polarized and ready for operation. During this time,it is recommended to keep the watering cap filled withconditioning solution on the sensor (see «Section 7 -Storage»), especially if the sensor is being polarized forlonger than 6 hours.A shorter polarization period is sufficient if the sensorhas been disconnected for only a few minutes. The fol-lowing table serves to establish the correct polarizationtime in relation to the depolarization time.

Depolarization time 1)

Minimum required tdepol [Min.] polarization time

2) [Min.]

tdepol > 30 360

30 > tdepol > 15 6 * tdepol

15 > tdepol > 5 4 * tdepol

tdepol < 5 2 * tdepol

1) Depolarization time:Time span in which the polarization voltage is cut off fromthe sensor. This is the case during:

– change of electrolyte– change of membrane body– the time the cable is disconnected or no transmitter or sen-

sor master is connected to the cable

2) Polarization time:Time span during which the sensor is under a polarizationvoltage.

Attention! Setting of the polarization voltage on thetransmitter for correct measurements:

– Standard applications (e.g. measurement in biotech-nology): -675 mV

– Measurement of permanently low oxygen concentra-tions <500 ppb in the presence of volatile acidic components (e.g. carbon dioxide during measure-ments in breweries): -500 mV

Page 17: calibration imp

InPro6900 Series O2 Sensor 12 mm 17

© 10/05 Mettler-Toledo GmbH InPro6900 Printed in Switzerland 52 201 029

Important! To ensure the supply of the correct polari-zation voltage the transmitter must be set accordingly.

5.2 Calibration

5.2.1 Purpose of calibration

Each oxygen sensor has its own individual slope andown individual zero point. Both values are subject tochange, for example, through electrolyte consumptionor after exchange of electrolyte or membrane body. Toensure high measurement accuracy of the sensor, acalibration must be carried out after each change ofelectrolyte or membrane. Prior to calibration, the sen-sor has to be polarized for at least 6 hours.

Please remove the watering cap from the sensor, rinse the sensor with water and dry it for at least 10minutes before starting calibration.

A zero point calibration is only advisable if very highaccuracy is required at low oxygen concentrations.

To check if your sensor needs a recalibration, youmay dry it and take it in the air to check that the read-ing is close to 100 %. If not, then the sensor needsa new calibration.

5.2.2 What you have to know for calibration

Attention! If dissolved oxygen is being measured atlow concentrations (<500 ppb) in the presence ofvolatile acidic components (e.g. carbon dioxide (CO2)measurements in breweries), the calibration proceduredescribed below should be followed in order to achievethe best measurement performance.

No special calibration procedure is required if dis-solved oxygen is being measured in standard applica-tions (e.g. measurement in biotechnology).

First step: Adjust the transmitter polarization voltage to –675 mV. Detailed information is given in the trans-mitter instruction manual.

Second step: After adjusting the polarization voltageto –675 mV, equilibration time is required. Wait forabout 5 minutes before carrying out step 3.

Where is oxygen being measured?

Standard applications (e.g. measurement in

biotechnology).

No special procedure required. Refer to transmitter instruction

manual and general remarks below.

Follow step 1 to step 4and general remarks

below.

Measurement of permanently low oxygen concentrations (<500ppb) in the pre-sence of volatile acidic components

(e.g. CO2 at measurements in breweries).

Page 18: calibration imp

18 InPro6900 Series O2 Sensor 12 mm

InPro6900 © 10/05 Mettler-Toledo GmbH52 201 029 Printed in Switzerland

Third step: Perform calibration according to thetransmitter’ instruction manual.

Fourth step: Adjust the transmitter polarization voltageback to –500 mV.

Steps 1 to 4 can be accomplished automatically if youuse the M 700 transmitter. Thus the routine can beminimized to a few keystrokes. In addition the M 700transmitter must be equipped with the software func-tion SW-700-011 «high CO2 compensation». Pleaseask your local Mettler-Toledo distributor.

General remarks:

– For calibration in air, the sensor membrane mustbe dry, since adhering water drops can falsify themeasured oxygen value.

– Make sure that the oxygen saturation index of thecalibration medium is correct and remainsconstant during calibration.

– In the event of calibration in water or samplemedium, the calibration medium must be inequilibrium with the air. Oxygen exchangebetween water and air is only very slow. Thereforeit takes quite long time until water is saturated withatmospheric oxygen.

– For correct calibration, a minimum flow rate of thecalibration medium is necessary.

– Calibration in a fermenter should be performedafter sterilization (as sterilization may alter thesensor slope), but prior to innoculation. If it is notpossible to perform the calibration after sterilization, the use of an existing membrane body that hasbeen pre-sterilized while mounted in the sensor isrecommended. A slope alteration of some per centcan occur with new membrane bodies, particular-ly after a first sterilization, as the tension of themembrane may be altered by the sterilizationprocess.

– Make sure that all other parameters, such astemperature and pressure, are constant.

For continuous applications, we recommend periodicrecalibration in line with your requirements onaccuracy, the type of process in operation and yourown experience. The frequency of the need for re-calibration depends very much on the specificapplication, and therefore appropriate intervals cannotbe exactly defined here.

Page 19: calibration imp

5.2.3 Single point calibration

By carrying out a single point calibration, the factualslope of the sensor can be established. The calibrationmedium can be water with known oxygen saturationindex (e.g. air-saturated water) or air with knownwater-vapor saturation (e.g. water-vapor saturatedair).

After the sensor signal has stabilized, the completemeasuring system can then be calibrated to the100 %value of the desired measurable variable, e.g.100 %air, 20.95% O2, or 8.26 ppm at 25 °C (77 °F) andnormal pressure (see instruction manual for thetransmitter).

Single point calibration should be sufficient for almostall process applications.

5.2.4 Dual point calibration

By carrying out a dual point calibration both slope andzero point of the sensor can be established. Important! In case of a dual point calibration, alwaysstart by the zero point calibration before calibratingthe slope.

Due to the very low zero current of METTLER TOLEDOsensors, dual point calibration is normally not nece-ssary for standard applications. As a rule, the zero point should be adjusted to zeromanually, or it is automatically performed by the trans-mitter (see instruction manual for the transmitter).A zero point calibration is only advisable if very highaccuracy is required at low oxygen concentrations.

Attention! Incorrect zero point calibration is afrequent source of measurement error. For correctcalibration, we recommend the use of nitrogen gasor other oxygen-free medium with a level of purityof at least 99.995%.

After the sensor signal has stabilized (after 20…30minutes), the sensor can be calibrated through therelevant transmitter to the 100 % value of the desiredmeasurable variable, e.g. 0 % air, 0.0 % O2, or0.0ppm (see instruction manual for the transmitter).

6 Maintenance

6.1 Inspection of the sensor

6.1.1 Visual inspection

To check your sensor, we recommend the followingprocedure:

• The contacts of the connector must be dry.Moisture, corrosion and dirt in the connector canlead to false readings.

• Check the cable for buckling, brittle areas orruptures.

• Before calibration always examine the membranefoil optically for signs of damage. The foil must beintact and clean. Dirty membranes should be wiped clean using a soft, moist tissue.Note: An undulated membrane has no influence onthe sensor performance, assuming the membraneis intact.

• The membrane body must be replaced if the sen-sor has too long a response time, the reading isunstable or subject to drift, and if the sensor can-not be calibrated or the membrane shows sign ofmechanical damage.

• Check the cathode area for discoloration, conta-mination or cracks in the glass. If necessary rinsewith demineralized water and clean with a cleansoft brush or soft paper tissue.

Attention! Do not use any cleaning agents containingalcohol. This could damage the sensor or lead tofault current.

Attention! The glass body is fragile and sensitive tovibration.

• Battery Check: Push the switch to the left. If the battery is ok andthe O2 Sensor-Master is operational the green LEDlights up. Otherwise, please consult the instructionmanual of the O2 Sensor-Master.

• Sensor Check: For this test the O2 sensor must be fully polarizedand the membrane of the sensor must be dry andclean.Expose the sensor (connected to O2 Sensor-Master) to the air. By pushing the switch to the rightto the position «2 – Sensor check», the O2 Sensor-Master checks wether the electrode current for airmeasurement delivered by the sensor is within theadmissible range (250 to 500 nA for InPro 6900). If the green LED lights up the current for airmeasurement is within the admissible range.

Page 22: calibration imp

If the LED does not light up, you should check thebattery of the O2 Sensor-Master (see instructionmanual «Accessories» ). If the battery is working, than there is probably a problem with your sensor. You should change the electrolyte and/or themembrane body of your sensor. If after amembrane change the LED still does not light up,this means that there is maybe something wrongwith the interior body of the sensor. You shouldthan change it (see «Section 6.2»).

Important! The Sensor Check function only verifiesthe correctness of the electrode current for airmeasurement. In order to be absolutely sure of thefunctionality of the sensor, the residual signal in anoxygen free medium should also be controlled (see«Section 6.1.3»).

6.1.3 Testing the sensor via a transmitter

A periodic zero current measurement (no zero pointcalibration) is recommended for verification of propersensor function.

Note: At the time you carry out the zero currentmeasurement, the sensor must be polarized.

Zero current measurement can be done by using zeroing gel (order no. 34 100 1032) or nitrogen (N2)or carbon dioxide (CO2) calibration gases with a puri-ty of at least 99.995 %, alternatively in a samplemedium saturated with one of these gases. After 2 minutes in an oxygen-free sample medium, thereading on the transmitter should drop to below 10%of the reading in ambient air, and within 10 minutesthe value should have dropped to below 1%.

If the measured values are too high, this suggests a de-pleted electrolyte or a defective membrane. In the firstinstance replace the electrolyte, and in the second caseexchange both the membrane body and the electrolyteaccordingly.

If after such procedures the above mentioned valuesare still not reached, replace the interior body. If thisdoesn’t solve the problem too send the sensor to yourlocal METTLER TOLEDO representative for inspection.

Many sample media contain volatile substanceswhich, even at very low concentrations, have a clear-ly perceptible smell. Similarly to oxygen, thesesubstances are able to invade the electrolyte throughthe gas-permeable membrane. Accordingly, theybecome noticeable when changing the electrolyte. Inmost cases, such substances have absolutely noinfluence on the measuring properties of the sensor.Slight discoloration of the electrolyte also has no effecton the measuring properties.

6.2 Changing the electrolyte, the membrane bodyor the interior body

Note: The InPro6900 uses a special electrolyte whichcontains an oxygen scavenger. This electrolyte en-sures fast response time and together with the guardring increases the signal stability of the sensor. Theelectrolyte must be exchanged on a regular basis orwhen the sensor has been exposed to the air for morethan 24 hours without a watering cap or if the sensorhas been stored for several months.

Note: The content of the electrolyte bottle has to be usedwithin 3 months after opening.

If the membrane exhibits signs of failure (longresponse time, increased current in an oxygen-freemedium, mechanical damage, etc.) the membranebody has to be replaced.

Warning! The O2 electrolyte has an alkaline pH value.Contact of electrolyte with mucous membrane or eyesis to be avoided. Therefore protective gloves andsafety glasses have to be worn for the followingdismantling works. If such contact occurs, the affected area should be wellrinsed with water. In the case of accident, or shouldever any adverse signs appear, get immediate medicalattention.

When changing the electrolyte, the membrane body orthe interior body, please observe the followinginstructions (see also the following illustration):

Attention! Make sure that this maintenance step iscarried out in clean place.

1. Unscrew the cap sleeve from the sensor shaft andcarefully pull it off the sensor.

2. Pull off the membrane body from the interior body.If it is tight-fitted, eject by pushing it with the flatfinger tip. Before electrolyte is refilled, themembrane body must be removed from the capsleeve.

3. Rinse the interior body with demineralized waterand carefully dab it dry with a paper tissue.

Note: steps 4 to 7 may only be carried out whenchanging the interior body.

4. Unscrew the retainer nut of the interior body with anadjustable wrench or with a 3/8" wrench.

5. Remove the interior body by pulling it out of thesensor shaft. If necessary use a plier.Warning! Do not twist the interior body. Otherwise the connection pins can be damaged.

6. Insert the new interior body in the sensor shaft. Turnthe interior body in the shaft until the slit of theinterior body is aligned with the pin placed in theshaft.

7. Press the body in the shaft and screw the newretainer nut in place.

8. Examine the O-rings visually for mechanicaldefects, and replace if necessary.

9. Half-fill the new membrane body with O2

electrolyte. Note: The electrolyte bottle is equipped with aspecial pouring system. To ensure properfunctioning, hold the bottle vertically, upside-down.

1/2 O2 electrolyte

Note: make sure that all air bubbles are removedfrom the membrane body. Air bubbles can beremoved by carefully tapping on the membranebody.

10.Slip the membrane body over the interior bodywhile holding the sensor in a vertical position. Theexcess electrolyte will be displaced and have to beremoved with a paper tissue. Important! No electrolyte, sample media orcontamination may be present between themembrane body and the cap sleeve. Please checkcarefully.

11.Carefully slip the cap sleeve over the fittedmembrane body, holding the sensor in a verticalposition and screw it tight. The cap sleeve must beclean and dry.

12.After each exchange of electrolyte or membranebody, the sensor has to be repolarized and recalibrated.

7 Storage

For storage periods longer than 24 hours, we re-commend you to use a watering cap filled with thesame cleaning and conditioning solution as that usedfor our portable DO measurement system (order no. 52 200 255). This solution contains an oxygenscavenger which ensures that the electrolyte of thesensor does not come into contact with oxygen whennot in use.

Prepare the cleaning and conditioning solution asfollows: Dissolve one tablet in 40 ml of deionized wa-ter and wait 5 minutes for the tablet to be completelydissolved. Fill the watering cap with this solution andplace it over the tip of the sensor. This solution hassome cleaning properties which will keep themembrane free of microorganisms. In case you do nothave any cleaning and conditioning set, you may al-so use checking gel or deaerated water in the wateringcap. Before mounting the sensor in the process, alwaysremove the watering cap and rinse the tip of the sen-sor with water.

Attention! The electrolyte should be replaced beforeuse if the storage period exceeds 3 months.

Attention! If the storage period exceeds 6 months, the sensor should be stored dry, i.e. without anyelectrolyte in the membrane body. A sensor beingstored dry (without electrolyte in the membrane body)may on no account be connected to the O2 Sensor-Master InPro 6900.

10 Theory of the polarographic sensor

10.1 Introduction

Two types of electrodes are employed in analyticalwork: potentiometric and amperometric electrodes.

– Potentiometric electrodes develop a voltage gener-ated by the activity of a particular ion. Examples ofsuch electrodes are glass electrodes (like pH elec-trodes) and most ion-selective electrodes. Their individual potentials cannot be determined. Themeasurable quantity is the difference of potentialbetween the measuring electrode and an inert reference electrode. The potential of the referenceelectrode must be constant. All potentiometric electrodes are subject to Nernst’slaw and for this reason electrodes and measuringinstruments are in most cases interchangeable. Animportant requirement of potentiometric measure-ments is the virtually currentless determination ofthe electrode voltage. During measurement nochemical reaction occurs and the solution remainsin equilibrium.

– In the case of amperometric electrodes, such asthe oxygen electrode, activity measurement isbased on a current measurement. The oxygen electrode consists of a cathode and an anode conductively connected by an electrolyte. A suitable polarization voltage betweenthe anode and the cathode selectively reduces theoxygen at the cathode.

Cathode reaction:O2 + 2 H2O + 4e

––> 4 OH

Anode reaction:4 Ag + 4 Cl

––> 4 AgCl + 4e

These chemical reactions result in an electric cur-rent which is proportional to the oxygen partialpressure (PO2). The oxygen electrode consumesoxygen which is continuously extracted from thesolution. The viscosity and flow rate of the solutionare therefore important parameters. The electrode current of an oxygen electrode is de-termined not only by the oxygen partial pressure butby many other electrode parameters. The electrodecurrents of different electrode types may differ byseveral powers of ten. For this reason oxygen elec-trodes and amplifiers cannot be freely inter-changed.

10.2 Principle of the design of an oxygen electrode

There are two main types of oxygen electrodes:

– Electrodes without membrane

– Electrodes with gas-permeable membrane (Clark Principle)

The membrane electrode according to Clark is todaymost widely used. As compared to the electrode with-out membrane it possesses the following advantages:

– Oxygen measurement in gases and solutions

– No mutual contamination of electrode and solution

– No or little dependency on flow

A

polarizationvoltage

membranemeasuring solution

In the case of the Clark electrode, geometrical config-uration is very important. In particular, the thickness ofthe electrolyte film between the cathode and the mem-brane must be within narrow tolerances so as to en-sure good linearity and a low zero current (current in anitrogen atmosphere). The figure above exemplifies theprinciple of the design of a Clark-type oxygen electrode.

Principle of the design of the InPro6900

The InPro6900 design is based on a Clark electrode. It features an additional cathode ring connected to aseparate polarization voltage. This additional cathode, also designated as “guard ring”, consumes the oxygendiffusing from the bulk electrolyte toward the measur-ing cathode. This together with our electrolyte ensuresexceptional signal stability and a very fast responsetime of the sensor.

10.3 Parameters determining current

The quantity of oxygen diffused in and the magnitudeof the electrode current are influenced by the followingparameters:– Oxygen partial pressure of the solution– Membrane material and thickness– Size of cathode– Polarization voltage– Temperature– Flow conditions in the solution

Page 33: calibration imp

Fick’s law gives the mathematical relationship betweenthese parameters:

pO2

I = k • D • a • A •X

10.4 Polarization voltage

The voltage between the anode and the cathode is soselected that the oxygen is fully (> A, see polarogram)reduced while other gases are unaffected (< D). Theideal voltage for the Pt/Ag/AgCl system is between -500and -750 mV.

The polarization voltage should remain as constant aspossible. Besides a constant source of voltage the fol-lowing prerequisites must be met:The electrical resistance of electrolyte film must not ex-ceed a particular value so as to avoid a voltage drop. The anode must have a large surface so as to preventpolarization of the anode by the electrode current.

10.5 Temperature

The temperature dependence of the current passingthrough an oxygen electrode when referred to a con-stant O2 partial pressure is determined mainly by theproperties of the gas-permeable membrane.

Page 34: calibration imp

10.6 Dependence on flow

With most oxygen electrodes the electrode current issmaller in stagnant solutions than in agitated ones. Theconsumption of oxygen by the electrode results in ex-traction of oxygen from the solution in the close vicin-ity of the cathode outside the membrane. The oxygenis replaced by diffusion. If the electrode current isstrong, the solution cannot fully restore the oxygen bydiffusion. This results in an electrode current weakerthan would correspond to conditions in the solution. Inagitated solutions the oxygen is conveyed to the sur-face of the membrane not only by diffusion but addi-tionally by the flow (convection). In that case no oxy-gen impoverishment occurs at the membrane surface.

A high degree of flow dependence occurs mainly withlarge cathodes, thin and highly permeable mem-branes, i.e. where electrode currents are large. The problem of flow dependence is often solved by pre-scribing a minimum flow rate.

In METTLER TOLEDO InPro6900 electrodes, the thinTeflon membrane determining the electrode current(i.e. the actual measuring signal) is separated from thesample solution by a relatively thick silicone mem-brane. This latter is highly permeable to oxygen mole-cules and thus acts as an oxygen reservoir. The diffu-sion of oxygen out of the sample solution into thesilicone membrane is spread over a wide area. Sincethis results in less oxygen being extracted from thesample solution per unit area, the double Teflon/sili-cone membrane forms an effective buffer against dis-turbances due to hydrodynamic flow.

This membrane coupled with the guard ring and thespecial electrolyte ensures excellent signal stabilityeven when the hydrodynamic flow stops (as on a beerfilling line for example)

10.7 Oxygen partial pressure – oxygen concentration

The electrode current depends on the oxygen partialpressure and the O2 permeability of the membrane –but not on the O2 solubility in the solutions. The oxy-gen concentration in mg O2/l (CL) cannot therefore bedetermined directly with an electrode.According to Henry’s law the oxygen concentration isproportional to its partial pressure (PO2).

CL = pO2 • aa = solubility factor

If «a» is constant, the oxygen concentration can be de-termined by means of the electrode. This applies atconstant temperature and with dilute aqueous solu-tions such as drinking-water.The solubility factor is strongly influenced not only bythe temperature but also by the composition of the so-lution:

Medium, sat. with air Solubility at20 °C (68 °F) and 760 mm Hg

Water 9.2 mg O2/l

4 mol/l KCI 2 mg O2/l

50 % Methanol-water 21.9 mg O2/l

Although the solubilities vary widely, the oxygen elec-trode gives the same reading in all three solutions. Thus, determination of the oxygen concentration is on-ly possible with constant and known solubility factors«a».Solubility may be determined by a Winkler titration orthe method developed by Käppeli and Fiechter.

3 Produktbeschreibung

3.1 Allgemein

Depolarisationszeit 1)

Minimal notwendige tdepol [Min.] Polarisationszeit

2) [Min.]

tdepol > 30 360

30 > tdepol > 15 6 * tdepol

15 > tdepol > 5 4 * tdepol

tdepol < 5 2 * tdepol

Wichtig! Die Einstellung der Polarisationsspannungam Transmitter für korrekte Messungen:

– Standardapplikationen (z.B. Messungen in derBiotechnologie): -675 mV

– Messungen von permanent niedrigen Sauerstoff-konzentrationen < 500 ppb in Gegenwart von sauren, flüchtigen Komponenten (z.B. Kohlen-dioxid bei Messung in Brauerei): -500 mV

Page 50: calibration imp

50 InPro6900 Series O2 Sensor 12 mm

InPro6900 © 10/05 Mettler-Toledo GmbH52 201 029 Printed in Switzerland

Wichtig!

Achtung!

Standardapplikationen(z.B. Messungen in der

Biotechnologie/Fermentation).

Keine spezielle Prozedur notwendig.

I = Elektrodenstromk = KonstantD = O2-Durchdringungskoeffizient der Membrana = Sauerstofflöslichkeit des MembranmaterialsA = KathodenoberflächepO2 = Sauerstoffpartialdruck im MessmediumX = Dicke der gasdurchlässigen Membran

10.4 Polarisationsspannung

CL = pO2 • aa = Löslichkeitsfaktor

Note: L’InPro6900 utilise un électrolyte spécialcontenant un anti-oxydant.

CL = pO2 • aa = facteur de solubilité
