2018 GEMS THEME IS "BE A BLESSING" – Would any of our ladies be interested in helping out this coming season? For the last two years we have been doing a "one classroom" lessons for girls grades K-8. It seems to be working well since the girls all learn the same lessons and are doing the same crafts. This gives the older girls the opportunity to help the little ones. And since some of our girls are siblings....they get to spend more time together. I would love for some of our congregation to come and give a testimony or teach a craft to the girls. You won't have to devote the whole season…just a Wednesday or two. You will have a chance to get to know our GEMS of Calvin CRC. If interested please contact Chantha Baker at 616-566-3901.

WOMEN’S RETREAT – The time to think about a weekend getaway is fast approaching. The Annual Women's Retreat is scheduled for October 5-7, 2018. This is a great opportunity for us to Refresh, Renew and Restore ourselves. Grace Adventures put together a beautiful weekend with 4 meals, guest speakers, workshops and activities. You can choose to stay at the hotel for $159 or on campus for $124. I have been attending for four glorious years and this is one weekend I look forward to every year. If you are interested and/or would like to attend please contact Chantha Baker at 616-566-3901.
