The book fair is here! Students can come on

their library day and/or every day a�er school

to shop. Parents can come a�er school or stop

in during the day to shop if they would like. It

will NOT be open before school due to

mee"ngs and preparing for the school day. There are lots of

great books and gi�s so stop by the library and support read-

ing in our school! There is also an online fair which you can

link to off our school website. Thank you so much for your

Red Ribbon Week

Your children will be bringing home information

regarding a coloring contest we will be having for grades

K-2 and a poster contest for grades 3-5 for Red Ribbon

Week. Encourage them to complete these and turn them

in by October 20th to their teachers. There will be

prizes for the winners which will be announced during the

week of October 24 - 28th.

Message from Solon PTO: Thank you to all the families who came out and

participated in our Ice Cream Social and BINGO Night! It was a great and fun night! Spe-cial thanks to all of our parent volunteers that helped to make our event a huge success! We couldn’t have done it without you! Also, thank you to Miss Ewen, Mrs. McBride and the Student Council! You all did an AMAZING job! Thank you to Mrs. McCarroll for anoth-er fabulous job as our favorite BINGO caller! Thank you to ELMO for making the night extra fun! Cookie Dough pick up will be Thursday, October 20th.
