Cal Sliction™ is a proprietary blend consisting of modified fatty acid derivatives and surfactants developed specifically as a high performance calcium tolerant drilling fluid lubricant. Engineered for for use in both aqueous and non-aqueous based fluids Cal Sliction™ provides a lubricious coating to metal surfaces and particles in the fluid and well bore. Cal Sliction™ is oil soluble and easily dispesable in water. Cal Sliction™ is recommended for use in total system treatment at a 1-3 lb/bbl concentration. Cal Sliction™ is easily dispersed and should be added through the hopper directly into the active system or directly into the mud pits. Cal Sliction™ has been developed to provide superior friction reduction and aide is solids suspension..
