Fun Facts!

• The Tokyo SkyTree opened only just recently on the 22nd of May 2012

• It is one of the tallest free standing buildings in The Guinness World Records standing at a very high 634m!!

• It is actually a Broadcasting Tower, they decided to build this due to the rising population in and around Tokyo and decided that the transmission tower needed to be taller to get to everyone.

• The SkyTree has 5 different floors, but 2 actual viewing decks, one at 350m (Tokyo SkyTree Tembo Deck) and the other at 450m (Tokyo SkyTree Tembo Galleria)
