Possibility of full-time or 0.4fte for the right candidateRequired for January 2017 (although a later appointment will be considered with consultation)

WE ARE looking to appoint a dynamic, driven individual to join our highly successful Creativity Faculty in January 2017. An ability to teach both Design Technology and Engineering would be an advantage. The post would suit a high-calibre NQT or more experienced teacher.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE must have the ability to maintain and improve the results achieved by the Faculty, thereby having a positive impact on whole-school attainment and achievement. This will be through effective teaching and learning strategies.

DESIGN TECHNOLOGY is part of the Academy’s Creativity Faculty, which also includes the Arts, ICT and PE. It has a successful, motivated team and enjoys the benefits of excellent facilities and resources, including a well-equipped design technology room, a new purpose-built engineering room, CAD/CAM & ICT room, and drawing room.

THE ACADEMY is proud to be one of a small number of schools offering Engineering within a traditional setting and values its importance within the local industries. CPD is a priority and all staff benefit from a supportive environment and a philosophy of shared practice.

WE BENEFIT from a spacious site in a beautiful location with extensive views across the Wolds. The cost of local housing is relatively inexpensive and Caistor is easily accessible from Grimsby, Lincoln and Scunthorpe.

APPLICATION FORMS and further details are available from the Academy’s website or by contacting the Academy. Completed application forms should be returned to [email protected] in advance of the closing date. Telephone or email enquiries are welcomed, as are preliminary visits by arrangement.
