Presentation Notes
The Bylaws and Code of Professional Conduct are undergoing a review process to update and improve clarity. As well, to allow the OSB and CAIRP to work more effectively together on professional conduct complaint investigations, a Bylaw revision will clarify CAIRP’s and OSB’s rights to share information. Further, the Code of Professional Conduct is being updated to be gender neutral and provide guidance for dealing with debtors who have engaged a debt consultant. In accordance with CAIRP Bylaw 30, the Board has appointed the following Nominating Committee Members – Myself (as Chair), Past-Chair Larry Prentice, Guylaine Houle, Derrick Hutchins, and Paul Casey. A slate of candidates for the 2018/19 Board will be reviewed by the Board in June. The approved slate will be communicated to members shortly thereafter with the election scheduled for the AGM in August.
