About CAD Direct InsertThomas Enterprise’s new technology enables your website visitors to insert CAD files directly into a CAD system without using Java.
Requirements:• DotNetFramework: V4, V4.0, V4.6.1• Platforms: Win 7, Win 8.1, Win10
Running CAD Direct Insert
Once your customers complete the CAD Direct Insert installation, they can enter your online catalog and quickly download and insert CAD files into their software.
First, select any view from the View CAD Drawing section.

Select the file format of your preference, and click Insert.

Depending on the selected CAD system, your file will download and save in the browsers download directory and will contain information about the insertion driver and the CAD system you selected.
Click on the downloaded file to complete the insert process.
