By now, we hope that you know what is so special about us, but if not...

Cacao is a 100% natural, organic, from scratch bakery. We make every

wholesale item to order in our Grayslake bakery, in small batches to ensure

quality. You will see us splitting vanilla beans to make extract a year in

advance, roasting and processing peanuts to create our peanut butter, hand

rolling dough to make graham crackers. No ingredient goes unnoticed,

resulting in the best sweet treats you can find!

As a Cacao partner, you will be the only location within a 5 mile radius to sell

our products. We believe in a bit of exclusivity and building strong community

relationships! We love to help in styling your displays, providing signage or any other

merchandising needs you may have. And, of course, we would love for you to share

your shop photos with us to share on our social media outlets!

The beauty of a bakery is that you are forced to constantly think outside of the box, imagining how you can keep creating more flavor. For us, it's sugar and salt - our most used ingredients! We take organic cane sugar and infuse it for months with vanilla beans or lavender and then our sweets (or coffee!) are taken to a whole new level! Same goes for the salt we use - house smoked jalapenos and sea salt are slow smoked together to create an earthy salty kick to anything!
