1 Basic CabinetBox Components

“Basic” components will consist of cabinet parts that require no additional machining. These components may be used as cabinet sides, backs, tops, floors, partitions and shelves.

2 Edgebanding

“Basic” components in Plywood, Custom Pressed material and Melamine areavailable with Edgeband Treatment Option EBT201 (Wood veneer or PVCedgebanding machine applied to a panel with veneer or melamine on the face and back.

“Basic” components in MDF are available with Edgeband Treatment Option EBT102 (Maple wood veneer edgebanding, machine applied to a raw MDF panel. No veneer on face or back).

1 Component Material Available in Plywood (MDF Core or Veneer Core), Raw MDF, Melamine and Custom Pressed material. See Chapter K for options.

Sizes / Dimensions1 Panel Thicknesses Available on ½" [12.7mm], ⅝" [15.9mm] and ¾" [19.1mm] thick panels only.

2 Edgebanding Minimum size for cabinet box components with edgebanding is 3" x 3" [76.2mm x 76.2mm]. Sizes below minimum may be available, but additional charges may apply. Please contact our Customer Support Team.

2 Drawings Required

Drawings should include the following information for the machining operations noted here, as well as any additional customization needed (see examples on previous page): • Overall width and height of end panel. • All dado groove widths and depths and the placement of each dado groove from edge of panel. • Shelf bore hole information: ◦ Position of holes from the edge of the end panel. ◦ Depth and diameter of holes. ◦ Start and stop points of holes from the top of the panel to the center of the holes. • Depth, width and height for toe kick rabbet. • Depth and height for toe kick notch. • Edgeband location should be noted as follows: Top (T), Bottom (B), Left (L) or Right (R), viewing the panel from the face.Pricing

1 Customized CabinetBox Components

“Complex / Customized” components will consist of cabinet parts that require additional machining operations such as Dadoes, Shelf Bore Holes and Toe Kicks. These components may be used as cabinet sides, backs, tops, floors, partitions and shelves.

2 Toe Kick NotchWhen ordering cabinet end panels with a “toe kick notch”, WalzCraft refers to the notch from the point of view of an assembled cabinet with a “toe kick recess”. For WalzCraft to correctly cut the notch to your specifications, please indicate “Depth x Height”.

3 Edgebanding
