STEP 1: Attach the standing platform(N) to the ladder extension (ABCD)using two (2) 2.5” bolts, four (4)washers and two (2) locknuts asshown in Figure 3.
STEP 2: Slide the feeder brackets (A& B) over the ends of the ladder ex-tension (ABCD) as shown in Figure 4.NOTE: Make certain to line up the let-ters as shown in Figure 4.
STEP 6: Install lower ladder section(CD) into ladder extension (ABCD).Make sure to match the letters up asshown in Figure 4. Attach the longleg braces (F) to the leg extensions(EG & FH) and the ladder extension(ABCD) using four (4) 2.5” bolts, eight(8) washers and four (4) locknuts asshown in Figure 8.
STEP 5: Attach the standing platformsupports (J) to the foot platform (N)and the ladder extension (ABCD) us-ing four (4) 2” bolts, eight (8) wash-ers and four (4) locknuts as shown inFigure 7. Be sure to install the braceson the inside of the ladder extensions(ABCD) and on the outside of the footplatform (N).
STEP 3: Insert the two (2) leg exten-sions (EG & FH) into the feeder brack-ets (A & B) as shown in Figure 5.
STEP 4: Attach the short leg brace(I) to the leg extensions (EG & FH)using two (2) 2.5” bolts, four (4)washers and two (2) locknuts asshown in Figure 6.

STEP 7: Attach lower rear legs (G & H) to leg extensions (EG & FH)using two (2) leg splices (L) and two (2) 2” bolts, four (4) washersand two (2) locknuts per splice as shown in Figure 9.

HOPPER ASSEMBLY
STEP 1: Locate the rear panel (KJ) and the two (2) side panels (IJ) and (KL). Slip the side panels(IJ & KL) into the rear panel (KJ) as shown in Figure 11 & 12. Secure using three (3) 1/2” machinescrews per side. NOTE: For ease of assembly, match the corresponding letters as shown in Figure13.
STEP 2: Insert the funnel (E) so the flange of the funnel rests on the top of the bottom panel withfunnel hole (D). Attach using the three small (3) machine screws (in the spreader box hardwarebag).

STEP 4: Slide the front panel (IL) into the three previously assembled sides and bottom panel withfunnel and attach using three (3) 1/2” machine screws per side as shown in Figure 14.
STEP 5: Attach the four (4) corner supports to the top corners of the hopper and secure using two(2) self-tapping screws each as shown in Figure 15.
STEP 6: Attach the hopper divider (P) to the inside of the feeder using six (6) 1/2” machine screwsin Figure 16. NOTE: On the front panel (IL) the top hopper divider (P) mounting hole is used tomount the spring lid latch as shown in Figure 16.

STEP 3: Install the bottom panel with funnel hole (D) on the three previously assembled panels bysimply laying it in the bottom of the three (3) previously assembled panels. NOTE: The bottompanel with funnel hole (D) simply lays in the bottom of the hopper. No attachment hardware isrequired for its installation.

TIMER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1. Connect the battery leads to the battery system of choice.
SETTING TIME OF DAY
STEP 2. Set current time by pressing the designated “Hour” and “Minute” buttons.
SETTING SPIN TIME
STEP 3. Briefly press and release the “Menu” button to display “Spin 1-6”. With this displayed,press the “Hour” and “Minute” buttons to set desired “Spin” duration.
STEP 7: Attach the hopper lid (O) to the rear panel (KJ) using four (4) 1/2” machine screws asshown in Figure 17. Install the lid supports arms (R) by bolting them to the lid support arm channelsas shown in Figure 18.
STEP 8: The hopper is now assembled.
STEP 9: Locate the previously assembled ladder assembly. Align the two (2) hopper assembly holesfound on the two (2) side panel (IJ & KL) at the bottom of the hopper. Install using two (2) 1”machine bolts per side as shown in Figure 19. Attach the spreader box brackets using four (4) 1/2”machine screws to the bottom of the bottom funnel panel (D) as shown in Figure 19. Insert thespreader box into the brackets and secure the two (2) wing nuts provided as shown in Figure 20.NOTE: These brackets and wing nuts allow for vertical adjustment. The closer the spinner is to thebottom of the funnel the LESS feed dispersed. The further away from the funnel the MORE feeddispersed. Open the spreader box and install the control box by connecting the wires as the wiretags indicate.
WARNING! IF AA BATTERIES ARE INSTALLED IN THE UNIT DO NOTATTACH THE BATTERY LEADS TO ANY OTHER BATTERY. THIS WILLCAUSE THE UNIT TO BURN OUT. CONNECTING YOUR UNIT IN THISMANNER IMMEDIATELY VOIDS THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY!
IMPORTANT NOTE:Your feeder will operate on either one (1) 6-volt, one (1) 12-volt or eight (8) AA
batteries.

MOTOR SPEED CONTROL
STEP 5: Press and hold the “Menu” button until “Motor Speed” is displayed. Use the “Hour” and“Minute” buttons to select desired motor speed. Choose either “Low,” “Med.,” or “Hi.”
SYSTEM TEST
Press and hold the “Menu” button until the “Push HR for Test” is displayed. Press the “Hour”button to begin testing sequence.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Testing the feeder will cause the motor to spin at a very high velocity. DO NOT TESTFEEDER WHEN IT CONTAINS FEED. TEST FEEDER WHEN EMPTY ONLY! TESTING THE FEEDERWHILE IT CONTAINS FEED WILL CAUSE FEED TO BE DISCHARGED AT A HIGH VELOCITY ANDWILL RESULT IN BODILY HARM. Failure to fol low these instructions may result in seriousinjury or death!
MEMORY CLEAR
Press and hold ALL buttons for five (5) seconds to reset all feed times.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES AND REPLACEMENT PARTS
STEP 4. Press and release “Menu” button again to display the associated “Spintime” (1-6). Usethe “Hour” and “Minute” buttons to set “Spin Duration” (0-30 seconds). Repeat Steps 3 and 4to set additional spin cycles.
