BUSINESS VENDOR ASSISTANCE

Tax does not have to be the greatest cost on the sale of a business

Professional advisers and business owners use CABEL Tax Business Vendor Assistance to ensure they receive expert tax advice that iseasy to understand, practical and adds value to the four key stages of the business sale process.

ONE - The Business Sale Tax Review identifies particular tax opportunities and tax issues and recommends actions that are critical inpreparing a business or business entity for a successful sale.

TWO - The Sale Structure Review identifies how to maximise the after tax sale proceeds that can be obtained by a vendor on the sale ofa business and can also provide a framework for the vendor to direct the sale process and to assist in the negotiation process.

THREE - The Due Diligence Service ensures timeliness, consistency and quality control in regard to all tax information provided by thebusiness vendor to prospective buyers. This minimises sale delays and ensures well-considered responses are available to anyexpected or otherwise unexpected tax questions.

FOUR - Post Sale Tax Planning includes attendance to all matters necessary so as not to undo the successful result of a business sale.Post Sale Tax Planning acts to preserve, over the long term, the value obtained by the vendor from a business sale. Post Sale TaxPlanning involves integrating the business sale process with the broader business and family life-cycle planning of the business vendor.

NEW BUSINESS STRUCTURING

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ approach to implementing an effective business and family group structure. Each business and eachbusiness owner is unique, as will be their needs when it comes to effective structuring.

Getting your business and family group structure right from the start is critical to avoid costly retrofitting and unintended taxconsequences. They key to getting it right from the start is knowing the questions to be asked and answered. This is where our teamcan help.
