This PTF adds a new message.
CAY6439E REFERBACK TO UNCATLG DSN NEEDS VOL=REF=, DSN NOT FOUND
Reason:
DSN referback points to a dataset that is referenced by VOLSER and
is not cataloged. The referback will not be able to find the file
unless a VOL parameter is added to the referback statement.
Action:
Add a VOL=REF= parameter referring to the same statement as the DSN
referback.

SOURCE RE-ASM FAILS IN JES3, MISSING $MODULE
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The SMPE reassembly of JCLSRBJ using macro JCLSRBJG requires the JES2
$MODULE macro that clients may not have if they are a JES3 only
enviroment. Applying a PTF that updates either of these two elements
can cause the apply to fail. Since release 11, the need to assemble
these at the installation is not longer required, since the code was
changed to dynamically determine the release info at runtime.
This PTF removes these elements.
SYMPTOMS:
PTF apply fails in a JES3 environment
IMPACT:
PTF cannot be applied
CIRCUMVENTION:
The PTF can be edited to remove the ++MAC (JCLSRBJG) and ++SRC (JCLSRBJ)
from the PTF. The PTF will then apply. Contact CA support for
assistance.

PRODUCT: CA-JCLCHECK-MVS Common Component
RELEASE: 11.0
DATE: 21 FEB 2014
HYPER: NO
STARTRAK PROBLEM PRODUCT NAME: CM-Z2 PROBLEM NUMBER: 967
---------------------------------------------------------------------
SOURCE RE-ASM FAILS IN JES3, MISSING $MODULE
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The SMPE reassembly of JCLSRBJ using macro JCLSRBJG requires the JES2
$MODULE macro that clients may not have if they are a JES3 only
enviroment. Applying a PTF that updates either of these two elements
can cause the apply to fail. Since release 11, the need to assemble
these at the installation is not longer required, since the code was
changed to dynamically determine the release info at runtime.
This PTF removes these elements.
SYMPTOMS:
PTF apply fails in a JES3 environment
IMPACT:
PTF cannot be applied
CIRCUMVENTION:
The PTF can be edited to remove the ++MAC (JCLSRBJG) and ++SRC (JCLSR
from the PTF. The PTF will then apply. Contact CA support for
assistance.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
Apply the following PTF to the system.
Reload any resident modules, or re-IPL if necessary.
***NOTE*** Retain the printed output for reference.
