Kitchener Downtown Community Health Center

"In the Kitchener Waterloo area, clients who may be eligible to apply

for HSO benefits are not easy to identify. The KW area does not have

easily identifiable areas of population where outreach could occur. These clients are from all

ethnic groups, aboriginal communities etc. and live and work

throughout the community."

Stephen Gross, Director of Client Services

Woolwich Community Health Centre

"Woolwich CHC identifies several priority populations including low income families which includes a

population of Low German Mennonite families. Our partnership

with Region of Waterloo Public Health has provided outreach to

these populations to facilitate access to oral health promotion, education,

and preventative services."
