Action: Set up a 150-TPH crusher plant.

Condition: In a classroom and at a training site, given a 150-TPH crusher plant, job specifications, TM 5-332, TM 5-3820-255-14&P,TM 5-3820-256-14&P, TM 5-3820-257-14&P,TM 5-3820-258-14&P, TM 5-3820-259-14&P,TM 5-3820-260-14&P, TM 5-3820-262-14&P,TM 5-3820-263-14&P, a general mechanic's tool kit, a ¾” driveset with sockets, an 18” pipe wrench, a 24” adjustable wrench, a12” ruler, replacement screens, a cone and jaw adjustment pump,a grease gun, petroleum, oil, lubricants, penetrating oil, rags,appropriate maintenance forms, an equipment records folder,goggles, gloves, double hearing protection, a hard hat, coveralls,safety boots, paper, and a pencil

Standards: Identify the setup procedures and calibrate a 150-TPH crusher plant in accordance with (IAW) job specifications,TM 5-3820-255-14&P, TM 5-332, TM 5-3820-256-14&P,TM 5-3820-257-14&P, TM 5-3820-258-14&P,TM 5-3820-259-14&P, TM 5-3820-260-14&P,TM 5-3820-262-14&P, and TM 5-3820-263-14&P, withoutdamage to equipment or the environment and without injury topersonnel.

Requirements

Hard hats must be worn at all times. Hearing protection must be worn whileequipment is running. Eye protection, gloves, and proper foot protection must beworn when operating tools. Use three points of contact when mounting or dismounting equipment. Remove all jewelry. Use caution around moving parts.

 Avoid unnecessary stripping and damage to vegetation and waterways. Control dustconditions and limit water erosion by dressing area at the end of each day.
